Emuchu: How to get partners

Once you get someone to join your party, all you have to do to get them to join you in subsequent run-throughs is to find them and talk to them.

== Oryu the Blinder: ==

[forest dungeon area]

She's that woman that comes on to you, then blinds you if you're a horn dog and accept her approach. The next time you see her, it'll be her twin sister, who apologizes for her sister's---- BAM! And you're blind again. Argh. Lastly, you'll run into her in Bamboo village. She's being cornered by two guys she's blinded before, and they're ready to kill her dead. Save her and she'll offer to join your party. If you say yes, BAM!!! You're blind. Again. Gah. But she joins you anyway. She can melee and blind things from a distance.

== Pekuji, your "brother": ==

[Bamboo Village]

He'll ask to borrow money the second time you come by Bamboo Village. Give him the 1000G. Next time you see him, he'll have blown the whole wad and be in a drunken stupor over some women who bamboozled and left him. Punch him in the face, and he'll take it as a sign of brotherly affection and join your party. Be warned: he'll punch at you occasionally in the dungeons, and gets hungry [he's the only one so far who does]. He's basically worthless as a serious addition to your party, so don't bring him unless you're feeling up for a challenge greater than this game already gives you.

== The Blind Masseur: ==

[cave dungeon area]

The first time you meet him, he'll charge some 200-or-so G to give you a massage. It'll fail miserably, cutting your strength, fullness, and HP, and he'll charge you 200G additionally to get it right. Jerk. Next, you'll find him in the Mountain Village, and he owns some guys samurai style. Next run, he'll be there again, in some trouble with the locals. Help him and he'll join your party. He melees.

== The Wandering Chef: ==

[forest dungeon area]

That guy who asks for the Mamel meat will be offered a job at the cliffside restaurant once it opens [be warned: their food FAILS miserably, but you may have to eat it to progress this story arc]. He only follows you until you get to the Mountain village, and he doesn't fight. He'll demand 10000G, which they obviously can't pay. If you pay his fee (he lets you pay in installments), he'll work for them... but I'm still paying it off, so I can't say for sure what happens next. The Head Chef that works in the other restaurant, tho, is a total douche, so this should prove to be interesting.

== Lost Girl: ==

[cave dungeon area]

She appears in the mountain dungeon area. Take her back to her village to get the storage place to open back up. Be careful, though, as there are a lot of pitfall traps in that dungeon, and she won't follow you through it like your party members will.
