Also, Cross/twin dock is used in the official release and all fansubs that I am aware of. Furthermore if the spelling was intended as &amp;quot;dog&amp;quot; it would be spelled without the extending &amp;quot;tsu&amp;quot; between the &amp;quot;Do&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;Gu&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;

The one that looks like a tsu is just an silent vowel. Even if you think dog makes no sense, It&#039;s how they named it (what language is it supposed to be then?), you should know that some names make no goddamn sense at all in anime. And what official release? And you don&#039;t romanize ドッグ　as &amp;quot;dock&amp;quot;, they can&#039;t do that; gu never transforms into ku (unless it&#039;s another language than English, probably). If you ask me, dock makes as little sense as dog, dock to what!? Well, dog is a military combat term, so it makes more sense than dock actually... not that they&#039;re military organization in Fafner...even if they run like one, kind of.&lt;br /&gt;

Well I appreciate you trying to Englishfy it for people who read. But please, leave it as dog. Since fansubs go with whatever, and official English don&#039;t usually follow direct stuff; they rename them instead. The game says Doggu ドッグ, so frankly we should abide by it no matter how much we might disagree with each other, and the game.&lt;br /&gt;

The term &amp;quot;Dock&amp;quot; specifically refers to how the the Fafner units synchronize their data to perform the combo attacks. Some Japanese spellings of English words are spelled in a way different then they are meant to be pronounced, super robot wars examples of this can be found as recently as Ventus(spelled with a hard We, despite obviously being named after the Latin word for &amp;quot;Wind&amp;quot;) or Fafner&#039;s very own Siegfried System in this game(spelled with a hard Ji instead of Shi.) That said I am a active member of the Fafner fan community, and I have never heard any one call the attacks anything other then &amp;quot;dock&amp;quot;. I have been in Japanses to English translating for seven years now and can assure you that &amp;quot;Dock&amp;quot; is the correct term. Are you going to argue that we should go through this wiki and change every instance of Char to &amp;quot;Shya&amp;quot; just because that is how it is spelled in the Japanese version?&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
