Personality And Traits
Irmgard Kazahara, or Irm, for short, in his Classic Timeline incarnation, is an 18-year old, easy-going male, who loves to flirt with women. However, he makes it his policy to only go for women between the ages of 8 to 50. In his Alpha and Original Generation incarnations, Irm is depicted to be 10 years older than his F counterpart, though still sporting the same physical appearance he had in F, most notably, his long, blue hair (in the Classic Timeline, his hair was green). The Alpha and Original Generation Irm is more calm and has a joking personality, but still keeps the flirting attitude, which usually gets him into awkward situations. Whenever he spots a good-looking girl, he will attempt to get her contact information, storing it into his black book. This does not go well with Ring Mao, who is furious at him, after she finds him having tea with an employee working at Mao Industries. Though not an official couple, Irm still holds a strong friendship with Ring, most notably how the two function in the most desperate scenarios.

Personality And Traits
Although her exact age is never stated, Luria Kayitz appears to be in her mid twenties. She has silvery blonde hair and violet eyes which stand out against her dark olive complexion. Although her bangs show from underneath her crystal-endowed headdress, the rest is contained within an orange-colored wrapping that covers her neck and the sides and back of her head. Luria also wears an ornate piece of armor that covers her upper torso and shoulders, a red crest perhaps symbolizing her clan heritage.

Luria's relatively young age suggests that she is something of a combat prodigy, earning the high position of bodyguard over the current Priestess of Zfylud and Balmarian Princess, Almana Tiqvah. She shares a deep personal connection with Almana, almost viewing her more like a younger sister than royalty. This relationship is put to the test when Almana's uncommonly independent personality comes into conflict with Luria's duty. However, her devotion to Almana and confidence in her own abilities cause her to support Armana's dangerous ventures. Together with her cohort, the irrepressible Baran Doban, they work tirelessly to protect her.

History
Luria Kayitz was born into one of the twelve noble clans of Balmar, the Kayitz. From her complexion (as well as the custom tan and bronze coloration of her personal mecha, Shemuel) it can be assumed that the Kayitz traditionally inhabit an arid region of the Balmar homeworld. After Hazal Gozzo essentially imprisons Almana on his command ship, Luria agrees to assist in her escape via a small shuttle. The pair stows away aboard one of the flagships of the Alpha Numbers, watching as they desperately hold off attacks by the Golar Golem. After the SRX Altered Banpreios returns the Alpha Numbers to real space, Luria and Almana confront Hazal directly via Luria's Shemuel. During the fight, it is revealed that Luria grew up with Hazal, and originally viewed him as a friend. However, his pride and arrogance, combined with the negative influence of the systems aboard the Vaikran, have pushed him past the point of no return. Once this conflict comes to its conclusion, Luria returns to Balmar with Almana and Baran, in order to try and circumvent the dangerous Shiva Gozzo.

While Baran makes the brash decision to confront Shiva personally, Luria must do her duty to protect Almana while she uses her considerable influence to gain an audience with the Spirit Emperor, Ruach Ganeden, in an attempt to convince him that the best way to face the looming threat of apocalypse is by the joining of forces between the Earthlings and Balmarians. Through the machinations of Son Gan Long, Baran is able to secure both the missing-in-action Aya Kobayashi and a stockpile of Tronium, and Luria accompanies him into orbit above the Balmar homeworld, where the Alpha Numbers had amassed against the fleets of Sardis Judecca Gozzo and Philadelphia Judecca Gozzo. Being granted access to the surface of Balmar, the Alpha Numbers try and make an ally of Ruach, but his mind is set in the ideal of a pure Balmar, progenated through the protection of his Gebel Ganeden. To prove his point against those who may have ideas of siding with the humans, the Children Of Nashim, he sends down a bolt of energy at Almana. The audacious, but thankfully non-fatal attack spurs Luria to reconsider her opinion of Ruach, a figure she held as a god. Just as with Hazal, Luria makes it clear that Almana is her top priority, and that she is willing to fight even a god to protect her.

The Gebel Ganeden is defeated twice, eliminating both Ruach and Shiva, but Balmar itself is soon destroyed by a massive meteor shower. As Almana takes on the mantle of leadership for the beleaguered, surviving Balmarians, treating Sardis and Philadelphia as her direct subordinates, Luria is officially adopted into the ranks of the Alpha Numbers, remaining with them in their continued battle until the defeat of Keisar Ephes. After this, she returns to Almana's side, supporting her through her trials to come.

Trivia
*Like many other people and things of Balmarian origin, Luria's name has a basis in the Hebrew language. Luria is the surname of a long-standing rabbinical family in western Europe, and Kayitz is the Hebrew word for summer.

A cruel, bloodthirstly terrorist, 34 year-old Archibald Grims was the man involved in the Elpis Incident, which took the life of Elzam V. Branstein's wife, fueling the Branstein family's anger towards him. Following the incident, Archibald went into hiding, and reappeared six months after the L5 Campaign, now part of the Neo Divine Crusaders, under the command of Colonel Van Vat Tran as a Major. According to Archibald, his clan, the Grims, comes from an aristocratic background, rich in their influence and power to their nation's government. However, due to an altercation with the legendary Chōkijin, his family lost all their wealth and fled from the face of the public, for fear of shame. As such, Archibald has developed a strong resentment to the Chokijin.

Archibald's merciless, relentless acts of terrorism would garner him the attention of the Original Generation cast, especially Raidiese F. Branstein, who swore to kill him for bringing much sorrow to his family. During Operation Plantagenet, Archibald would defect from the Neo Divine Crusaders and side with the Shadow-Mirror, knowing they would be the ones who can bring him the carnage he so desires. His last stand occurred in the Earth Cradle, having been driven into a corner by the Branstein brothers. As he attempts to escape from his machine, the self-destruct sequence is accidentally activated and destroys it, along with Archibald.
*Mecha: N/A

Cuervo Cero was a former School instructor, prior to the events in the Original Generation universe. One of the first trainees for the program would be Radha Bairaban, but seeing the difficulty and the stress the School had to offer, he opted Radha out, having her as an assistant, instead. Years later, he would encounter Latooni-11, Bronzo-27, Bronzo-28 and Aurum-1. To them, he was like a surrogate father, treating them with kindness and respect, even giving them full names, rather than addressing them by their designation.

When the School was shutdown, Cuervo stayed with Águila Setme to continue the program in secret, by joining with the Divine Crusaders. However, Radha would not come along with him and went to Mao Industries instead. When the events of Original Generation 2 unfolded, Águila has Cuervo sends Bronzo-27 and Bronzo-28, now known as Seolla Schweizer and Arado Balanga, to the aid of the Divine Crusader Remnants. Unfortunately, the sudden loss of Arado would force Cuervo to alter Seolla's memory, albeit reluctantly. Along with Águila, he would defect from the Neo Divine Crusaders to the Shadow-Mirror, and relocate to the Earth Cradle. Once again, unforeseen circumstances would have him alter both Seolla and Aurum-1's memories again, further fueling his guilty conscience.

When the Earth Federation Army successfully infiltrated the Earth Cradle, the supercomputer Magus made an attempt to restore the facility using Machine Cells, but it was too late. Cuervo would be trapped under the rubble, and though Radha, who was with the Federation forces, would try to save him, Cuervo would urge her to escape the Earth Cradle. In his dying breath, he asked Radha to forgive him for not following her and for what he did to the School children.

Cuervo's name is Spanish meaning crow.
A former model, turned fighter pilot, 23 year-old Garnet Sunday has a habit of getting involved in the love lives of her friends and comrades. An attempt by her to help Kusuha Mizuha get SRX Team member, Ryusei Date's attention, ended up in the gothic lolita-style of clothing Latooni occasionally wears.

Prior to the events of Original Generation, Garnet and her boyfriend, Giado Venerdi, found a young girl stranded, after her mech crashed during a training session for The School. Upon bringing the child to a hospital, she and Giado decided not to send her back to the facility, in fear that the same thing might happen to her again. Although the girl was without a name, Garnet and Giado gave her the identity Latooni Subota, and quickly befriended her. Latooni would stay by Garnet and Giado's side, joining up with them in the Earth Federation Army. Although they never officially adopted her, they treated Latooni as if she was their own daughter. After the L5 Campaign, Garnet and Giado would retire from the army to get married, while keeping close contact with Latooni and the rest of their friends. The single father to Irmgult Kazahara, Jonathan still flirts with women for his age, thus is the source of where Irmgult's flirting habit comes from. In the past, he would make odd presents for his son, such as a transforming tricycle, with an attached booster. However, the misuse of the booster lead to an injured Irmgult. When the Grungust was finally completed, he would unveil the machine to his son, giving it to him as a birthday gift.
In Original Generation 2, having been held hostage inside Tesla Leicht by the Inspectors, he, Filio Presty and Master Rishu Togo would buy as much time to stall the Inspectors from acquiring the latest technology and machines in the facility. When Sanger Zonvolt and Ratsel Feinschmecker arrived to liberate the institute, Jonathan and Filio hurried to the lower levels and release the hidden Dygenguard and Aussenseiter machines for Sanger and Ratsel to use, successfully driving the Inspectors away from Tesla Leicht.

The father of Aya and Mai Kobayashi, 49 year-old Kezno Kobayashi is the head of the Earth Federation Army's research department on telekinetic abilities. He was the one who designed and created the T-Link System, with the help of Águila Setme. Yukiko Date, mother to Ryusei Date, would be his first test subject for the system, but unforeseen circumstances forced him to stop experimenting on her. In order to advance his research, he had Águila alter Aya and Mai's memories to respond to Kenzo as a daughter would to a father, so as to enhance their emotional output for the T-Link System to be used at its maximum. A lab explosion in his research facility would end up with a missing Mai, presumed to be dead, forcing Kenzo to focus on his research with Aya only.

As the Divine Crusaders War escalated, Kenzo continued to improve on the T-Link System, in order to roll-out the eventual SRX machine, against the incoming Aerogaters. When Ingram Prisken defected to the Aerogaters, after the Divine Crusaders War, he was put into Federation custody, after suspicion arose that he was conspiring with Ingram. However, no evidence of such a conspiracy was found, and he was released. After the L5 Campaign, Kenzo returned to his lab with Aya and Viletta Vadim. When the core of the Judecca was found and extracted, a still-breathing Levi Tolar remained inside the machine. Using the Psychodriver to his advantage, he covered up her identity, and had her treated as Mai once again, joining her up with the SRX Team to become the eventual pilot of the R-Gun Powered.
Robert H. Ohmiya is his closest friend and co-worker. Prior to Original Generation, he was married to Marion Radom and worked alongside one another at Mao Industries. When he was testing the RTX-008-R Huckebein 008 R's Black Hole Engine, an accident would occur, levelling the entire installation.
It is interesting to note that Kirk shares the same surname as one of the selectable protagonists of Super Robot Wars 64, Manami Hamill. Whether this would confirm a certain relation between them in the Original Generation universe is currently unknown.
He has a grudge against him and the Hagane due to them not stopping the death of his parents and some one named Cynthia. Before the Beginning of the Second DC war, the ATX team and later the Aggressors are assigned to his ship to hunt down the DC remnants; getting the Shirogane damaged in the process, the Hagane takes over. Later, during the second DC war, his ship is captured by the Shadow mirror organization and he is converted to their side. He later heavily damages the Hagane, kills Daitetsu and forces the Hagane to run, disabling it for the rest of the game. After later losing to Tetsuya and the rest of the heroes, aboard the Kurogane, he decides to ram the ships into each other. This is a huge tactical error on his part as the Kurogane has a Titanic Drill on the front of the ship and simply smashes its way through the Shirogane, destroying it and killing Lee. However, this event only happens in Original Generation 2, and in Original Generations Lee escaped with his life, though he did not show up in Original Generation Gaiden. Lee's Personality is that of a ruthless military commander, thinking of soldiers as pawns and that they don't need to think but to just follow his orders.
An extremely skilled mech developer, 30 year-old Marion Radom is currently the lead developer behind the ATX Team's mechs. Originally married to Kirk Hamill, another mech developer, Marion was employed at Mao Industries, but decided to leave the company, after stubbornly refusing to utilize Extra-Over Technology into her mech designs, preferring Earth-based technology, instead; stating that EOT was "dangerous and unstable". While Kirk stayed at Mao Industries, Marion relocated herself to the Tesla Institute. Not long after her relocation, she and Kirk would get a divorce.

At Tesla Leicht, Marion would come up with the designs for the PTX-003C Gespenst MK III and the PTX-007-03C Gespenst MK II Custom, the next generation Personal Troopers that would replace the ailing GGespenst MK II M as the Earth Federation Army's main unit. However, both the MK III and MK II Custom were demmed too hard to pilot for the average soldier and too expensive to mass-produce, thus only the prototypes where developed and would end up in the hands of ATX Team members Kyosuke Nanbu and Excellen Browning, respectively, having their machines renamed the Alt Eisen and Weiss Ritter (though Marion stubbornly refused to use their codenames). Marion would also repair and refit the Giganscudo properly, during the middle of the Divine Crusaders War. In Original Generation 2, she would give Tasuku Shinguji, pilot of the Giganscudo, mechanical parts and designs for the Giganscudo Duro upgrade. Marion would also cooperate with Kirk at Mao Industries to produce the PTX-015 Wild Wurger and PTX-016 Wild Falken. Her latest creation would be the upgraded Alt Eisen, the PTX-003C-SP1 Alt Eisen Riese, after being heavily damaged from a sortie against Shadow-Mirror Axel Almer's Soulgain.
Nibhal Mubhal
Nibhal acts behind the scenes in the political settlements of Original Generations and Original Generations two. At the first game he is seen making contact with the federation comitee, presenting himself as a bridge between the Aerogators and the Council. His atempts to get into negotiation with the Aerogator leaders failed twice. First thanks to the Granzon attack on the Shirogane which led into the divine wars and then by Vileta Vladim, who kills the head of the Federation Comitee.

After the SRX and ATX teams defeats the Aerogators Nibhal resumes his duties as a councelor, now working alongside the planetary federation Brian Midcrid on Project Aegis. Behind the scenes he once again acted as a double agent, this time succeding in becomming the chain between the shadow mirrors and the inspectors. Wendoloo, leader of the Inspectors, refeers to him as an an agent working for the Balmarians, tought it seems Nibhal has his own agenda.

No one really knows who owns Nibhal's aliance, so far he has acepted and joined three different governments (The Federation Comite, Brian Midcrid's Republic and the new Military state let by Graien Grassman) . And has made contacts with two different extra terrestrial factions. He also seems to have a close professional relationship with the head of Itsurugi Industries Mitsuko, and it is hinted that Nibhal has used his influence over the federation to keep projects SRX and ATX on the run.

A mercenary under the employ of Neo Divine Crusaders commander, Lorenzo Di Montegnacco, Murata was a former candidate for the elite Aggressors. His only desire is to slay and destroy any human or machine in battle with the Shishioh Blade he stole from his former master, Rishu Togo, head of the Jigen-Ryu school of swordsmanship. It is his belief that the sword is wielded not to protect, but only to kill. His Guarlion Custom machine is decorated to resemble a samurai, much like Sanger Zonvolt's Dygenguard appears as one.

Appearing in Original Generations, he and Lorenzo attacked and occupied an Earth Federation Army testing facility of the new Valsion Custom Type-CF. The ATX Team would quickly arrive at the location, but the rash Brooklyn Luckfield, pilot of the Huckebein MK II would attempt to intercept Murata, demanding to know why his Guarlion Custom carries the same Shishioh Blade as the one his master, Rishu Togo, created. Easily dodging Brookyln's attack, Murata moves in and destroys his MK II, while Lorenzo hijacks the Valsion Custom Type-CF, threatening the safety of the facility's hostages, including Kusuha Mizuha, who was sent to the testing site. However, Brooklyn, who escaped from the MK II, managed to get himself into the seat of Kusuha's Grungust Type-2 in the facility's hangar bay and engages Murata again. As their forces dwindled down from the assault by the ATX Team and the newly arrived Aggressors, Ryoto Hikawa and Rio Mei Long, Lorenzo and Murata fled the area.

Yukiko Date is the mother of Ryusei Date. In the Original Generation timeline, she is possibly the first human Psychodriver, thus was the first test subject for the experimental T-Link System, developed by Kenzo Kobayashi and Águila Setme. It is said that Yukiko possessed one of the highest telekinetic abilities of all known Psychodrivers, surpassing existing Psychodrivers, such as Aya Kobayashi and Kusuha Mizuha. When she gave birth to Ryusei, Yukiko would lose her powers, but it can be assumed this was genetically inherited by Ryusei, as he had high telekinetic powers, although not as potent as his mother's. However, in Super Robot Wars Original Generations, while the protagonists were stranded in Einst space, Yukiko briefly sensed Ryusei, even though he was in another dimension, thus her powers may not have fully disappeared after all.

Before the Divine Crusaders War, she resided at the local hospital, strickened with an unknown illness, and awaiting surgery. Due to the increasing hospital bills, Ryusei was unable to pay for the operation, until he agreed to join the Earth Federation Army, under the condition they cover his mother's hospital bills. By the end of Original Generation, she makes a full recovery and returns home.

Atad Shamran is Levi Tolar's second-in-command of the Aerogater invaders, usually staying inside the White Star, issuing orders to their mechanized units for their invasion of Earth. She was also in charge of monitoring Galuin Mehabel and Gaza Haganer's condition and stability.

Atad was once Jennifer Fonda, a researcher in Kenzo Kobayashi's lab for the development of the T-Link System, prior to the events of Original Generation. However, an accident occurred that would seemingly take the life of Mai Kobayashi and herself; in reality, both would be abducted by the Aerogaters and have their memories altered, becoming Levi Tolar and Atad Shamran, respectively. During the L5 Campaign, Atad began to suspect that Ingram Prisken had an agenda of his own, even though he defected from the Earth Federation Army. Sure enough, she discovered it was him who provided the SRX Team with the materials needed to combat the Aerogaters, allowing them to successfully push the Aerogaters out of Earth airspace. However, she dug in too deep and Ingram was forced to kill her at gunpoint for knowing too much.

Like many Balmarians, whose names are of Hebrew origins, Atad's name is derived from Atad, an Old Testament Hebrew name meaning buckthorn.
*Mecha: Bemidoban (Alpha 3)
*Theme Song: Ware Koso Wa Baran Doban (I Am Baran Doban)

Baran Doban is the Commander of Balmar's Imperial Guards, as well as the protector of Princess Armana Tikvah. He hails from one of the 12 Balmar royal houses, the house of Doban. He was also the mentor of the head of the Golar Golem army, Hazal Gozzo. Despite his old age, Baran is almost as hot blooded as the other pilots in Super Robot Wars Alpha 3.

Baran started out by conducting the attack on Earth, alongside other Balmarians and collborators, such as Son Ganlong, Calico McCready and Spectra McCready. But eventually, as the war waged on, Baran began to doubt Balmar's actions, as well as his superiors, both Ruach Gan Eden and Shiva Gozzo. Baran plotted with Luria Kayitz to free the imprisoned Aya Kobayashi, leading the Alpha Numbers to discover the Balmar world. Eventually, Baran defected from the Balmarian army and fought alongside Luria and the Alpha Numbers, from overthrowing Ruach Gan Eden to destroying Keisar Ephes, whose presence he did not even realize until Keisar Ephes' appearance. After the war, he returned to Balmar to rebuild it and serve its new ruler, Armana.

Baran Doban is also the combat rival of Touma Kanou, if he is picked as the protagonist of the game. In that case, Baran becomes the one responsible of damaging the RaiOh, ultimately evolving it into DaiRaiOh, and later still managed to leave a scar on the upgraded robot. If the protagonist is not Touma, then Sanger Zonvolt becomes Baran's rival.

Calico McCready
Calico McCready is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series. He has appeared as an enemy character in Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 only.

*Status: Balmarian; deceased
*Rank: Captain
*Affiliations: Imperial Guard (Alpha 3)
*Mecha: Varuch Baal (Alpha 3)

The captain of the elite, Balmarian Golar Golem squad, Calico McCready is always seen wearing a mask, as if there is something that he needs to hide from his enemies. Indeed, when his mask is destroyed, the Alpha Numbers discover he is the third clone of Euzeth Gozzo, and the direct clone of the Originator, Ingram Prisken, the first clone of Euzeth, bearing his physical appearance. Calico possesses an extreme dislike for his other name, Gimel Balshem, mainly because it identifies him as just another by-product of Euzeth's cloning. However, what lies behind Calico's looks is his ambition to become the new Originator, thereby ridding his status as just another clone of Euzeth's Balshem series.

When Hazal Gozzo led the second invasion of Earth, Shiva Gozzo, who Calico directly reports to, orders him and and Spectra McCready to follow his son and report any unseen circumstances that might follow. Much to Calico's dismay, when he discovered that Cobray Gordon was chosen by Ingram to become his vessel, he becomes bitter and extremely hostile towards the pilot, seeking only to destroy him and his mysterious Werkbau. However, Calico's continuous rivalry with Cobray would lead to the birth of Cobray's new Dis Astranagant machine, making it even more difficult for Calico to defeat him. Calico would meet his end on Balmar, defending Shiva in the imperial palace, when the Alpha Numbers arrived on the planet.

Unlike many Balmarians, whose names are of Hebrew origins, Calico's name is possibly derived from the Calico Light Weapons Systems, a firearms manufacturing company in the United States.

*Mecha: Hermóðr Echad (Alpha 3), Zfylud Eved (Alpha 3)

Ephesus Judecca Gozzo is the commander of the Ze Balmary Empire's first fleet, commonly referred to as the Ephesus Fleet. Like the rest of his Judecca Gozzo brothers, he is the first Judecca Gozzo clone of Euzeth Gozzo, and takes after him in appearance. The only recognizable difference between him and his brothers is that Ephesus' hair is green.

Roughly one month after the Sealing War in Super Robot Wars Alpha 2, Hazal Gozzo, the son of Shiva Gozzo, became the general commander of the army. He ordered Ephesus to begin the second invasion of Earth, appearing at the Earth's own consturcted Crossgate, while succeeding in capturing and securing it. However, the Alpha Numbers would push Ephesus and his fleet back, forcing them to retreat to Mars, where he would unveil the Zfylud Eved for the first time. Regardless, the Alpha Numbers' assault would be too much for him, and he returns to Balmar. When the Alpha Numbers arrive to his homeworld, he would be one of the defenders for the Neviim satellites orbiting Balmar, but would lose his life in the defense.

Like many Balmarians, whose names are of Hebrew origins, Ephesus' name is derived from the church of Ephesus, one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book Of Relevations.
*Affiliation: Balmarian Imperial Guard (Alpha 3), Alpha Numbers (Alpha 3)
*Relatives And Personal Affiliations: Princess Almana Tiqvah (Bodyguard), Baran Doban (Confidant)
*Mecha: Shemuel (Alpha 3)

Luria's is assumed to be something of a combat prodigy among her clan, earning the high position of bodyguard over the current Zfylud and Balmarian Princess, Almana Tiqvah. Her time stowed away aboard the Alpha Numbers' vessels and events such as the death of her childhood friend Hazal Gozzo and the assault of Almana by the hand of Ruach Ganeden lead her to rebel against Balmar's corrupt leadership. Joining with the Alpha Numbers after Balmar's destruction, Luria assists in their fight against the Buff Clan, STMC, and Keisar Ephes. After the war, she returns to her position as Almana's bodyguard.

Like many other people and things of Balmarian origin, Luria's name has a basis in the Hebrew language. Luria is the surname of a long-standing rabbinical family in western Europe, and Kayitz is the Hebrew word for summer.
Philadelphia Judecca Gozzo is the commander of the Ze Balmary Empire's sixth fleet, commonly referred to as the Philadelphia Fleet. Like the rest of his Judecca Gozzo brothers, he is the sixth Judecca Gozzo clone of Euzeth Gozzo, and takes after him in appearance. The only recognizable difference between him and his brothers is that Philadelphia's hair is blue. However, unlike most of his brothers, Philadelphia knows the empire is collapsing within itself, through the corruption of its politicians, and is willing to go to any length in order to prevent such an outcome. While he detests most of the empire's leaders, he holds great respect for Baran Doban.

When the Alpha Numbers make their way to the Balmar homeworld, hoping to seek an audience with Ruach Ganeden at the imperial city, Philadelphia would be one of the city defenders. Ruach would be defeated, along with Shiva Gozzo, inside the imperial palace. Though it would seem the Balmarian threat was over, a massive meteor shower was headed directly for the planet. Philadelphia would have his fleet evacuate the citizens and flee Balmar with the Alpha Numbers, just as the catastrophic shower destroyed the planet. He, his brother Sardis, Baran, Princess Almana Tiqvah and Luria Kayitz would now be the ones to lead the survivors and restore the empire to its former status, before its corruption crippled it.
Like many Balmarians, whose names are of Hebrew origins, Philadelphia's name is derived from the church of Philadelphia, one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book Of Relevations.
Sardis Judecca Gozzo is the commander of the Balmarian|Ze Balmary Empire's fifth fleet, commonly referred to as the Sardis Fleet. Like the rest of his Judecca Gozzo brothers, he is the fifth Judecca Gozzo clone of Euzeth Gozzo, and takes after him in appearance. The only recognizable difference between him and his brothers is that Sardis' hair is red. Both he and his brother, Philadelphia Judecca Gozzo knows the empire is collapsing within itself, through the corruption of its politicians, and is also willing to go to any length in order to prevent such an outcome.
*AKA: Dalet Balshem
*Voice Actor: Naoko Nakamura
*Status: Balmarian; deceased
*Rank: Vice-Captain
*Affiliations: Golar Golem (Alpha 3)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Euzeth Gozzo (Origin), Ingram Prisken (Clone), Calico McCready (Superior)
*Mecha: Varuch Ishar (Alpha 3)

The vice-captain of the elite, Balmarian Golar Golem squad, Spectra McCready also frequently wears a mask, like her superior, Calico McCready does, hiding her true identity, for she is the fourth clone of Euzeth Gozzo, and the direct clone of the Originator, Ingram Prisken, the first clone of Euzeth. Unlike Calico, she does not seem to hate being identified as Dalet Balshem, but like him, she wishes to replace Viletta Vadim, Ingram's own clone, who Spectra physically resembles, as the partner to the Originator, which Calico desires to become. When provoked to fight, Spectra can become very emotional and extremely hostile.

When Spectra and Calico were sent to Earth by Shiva Gozzo, in order to watch over his son, Hazal Gozzo, Spectra encountered Selena Recital and her unit, Team Jelba. She would destroy the unit, but left Selena alive -- a mistake that would be Spectra's undoing. Using her appearance, she would deceive Selena into thinking it was Viletta who killed her teammates, until the Alpha Numbers revealed the truth to Selena, halting her assault. Throughout the events of Alpha 3, she and Selena would be at each others' throats, until Spectra dealt a devastating blow to Selena's AS Soleares. Selena would eventually return to face her in the upgraded AS Alegrías, forcing her to retreat to Balmarian|Balmar, where her last stand would be defending Shiva in the imperial palace, when the Alpha Numbers arrived on the planet.

In Alpha 3, if the player does not select Selena as the main character, then Viletta will become Spectra's rival for the duration of the game.
The only female Inspector, Aguija dislikes that everyone, ally or foe alike, refer to her as "old", when in fact, she appears to be in her mid-twenties. An utterly vain woman, she is a deadly combatant, skilled in aerial attacks with her lightning fast Silverwind, which can reach up to speeds that are on par with Masaki Andoh's Cybuster and Ibis Douglas' Astelion. In the Original Generation universe, both she and her lover, Sikalog, and Mekibos would invade the Earth Federation Army-occupied White Star first, before occupying North America. *Theme: Violent Battle

Mekibos is one of the five Inspectors who were sent to Earth to subjugate its inhabitants from becoming a future threat to the Zuvorg Alliance. He, along with Aguija and Sikalog, would invade the Earth Federation Army-occupied White Star, then made his way to Mao Industries, hoping for a chance to hijack the prototype Huckebein MK III, only to have the staff escape with the machine.

After fighting in multiple battles with the Earthlings, and through the persuasiveness of one Irmgult Kazahara, he slowly realized that they didn't pose as great a threat as the Zuvorg originally thought. As such, he would side with the Original Generation protagonists, after failing to persuade the leader of the Inspectors, Wendolo, who was also his younger brother, to call off the invasion. Unfortunately, Wendolo anticipated his betrayal and rigged his Graterkin with an explosive device, which seemingly killed Mekibos. In the Original Generation universe, this event would occur during the protagonists' assault on the White Star.

In the Classic Timeline, the Zuvorg Council would retrieve Mekibos' body, reviving him using their advanced cybernetics. In Super Robot Wars F Final, he would be sent back to Earth to stop the Guest forces, led by Teniquette Zezernan, as the Zuvorg Council was considering to agree on an alliance with the Earth. Mekibos would succeed in his mission, and returned to report to the council. Whether this event will be carried on in the Original Generation universe is currently unknown.
One of the five Inspectors sent to Earth, Sikalog is a purely bald and mute man. In order for him to communicate with is fellow Inspectors, he utilizes a special thought pattern device, installed in his Drukin machine, in order to avoid complications during conversations. In the Original Generation universe, both he and his lover, Aguija, and Mekibos would invade the Earth Federation Army-occupied White Star first, before occupying North America. *Theme: Violent Battle

A seemingly pupil-less, bald (though he claims he only shaved off all his hair) individual, Vigagi is one of the five Inspectors sent to Earth to subjugate its inhabitants from becoming a future threat to the Zuvorg Alliance. Out of the five, he is known as one of the more violent Inspectors, and deeply believes, or rather, stubbornly believes in the Inspector leader, Wendolo's, ideals: the Earthlings are barbaric in nature, and will end up destroying themselves. Thus, they must either be controlled or be exterminated.

In the Original Generation universe, he attacks the Earth Federation Army several times, first seizing the Tesla Leicht Institute, holding its staff hostage, until Sanger Zonvolt and Ratsel Feinschemcker liberated the facility, forcing Vigagi to retreat to the Moon Cradle. When Mekibos issued an order to withdraw after the Federation forces liberated Mao Industries on the moon, Vigagi opted to fight, defending the captured Moon Cradle to the very end.

Vigagi's role somewhat mirrors Kukuru in Super Robot Wars Alpha 2, where he is the one responsible for breaking apart Sanger's Grungust Type-3, only to witness the unveiling of Sanger's new unit, the Dygenguard. An interesting note in the North American localization of Original Generation 2 is that he broke the fourth wall, by exclaiming, "What does Episode 30 mean!?", after the episode title comes to the screen.

Wendolo
Wendolo is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series. He has appeared as an enemy character in Super Robot Wars 3, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 and Super Robot Wars Original Generations.

*Name: Wendolo
*AKA: Wendolo
*Voice Actor: Makoto Takasaka (Classic Timeline), Yuki Kaida (OGs)
*Status: Zuvorg; deceased
*Rank: Unknown
*Affiliations: Inspectors (3, OG 2/OGs)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Mekibos (Brother)
*Mecha: Dikastes (3, OG 2/OGs)
*Theme Song: Armageddon (3), Violent Battle (OG 2), Sabaku Mono, Sabakareru Mono (The Judge And The Judged; OGs)

The leader of the five Inspectors, Wendolo is the younger brother to Mekibos, another member of the group. Appearing like a child, Wendolo keeps up a sinister smile, even during hard times, and rarely opens his eyes, similar to Bleach's Gin Ichimaru. His stubborn attitude and belief that humans are barbaric in nature and their own technology will one day be their downfall is what motivates him and his goal to subjugate the Earth. In Super Robot Wars 3, Wendolo stayed behind the scenes, appearing only when the protagonists have pushed back the Inspectors' army. In the Original Generation universe, he would relocate to the White Star and set up a base of operations there, after the sudden appearance of the Einst forced the Inspectors out from their North American occupation. Wendolo would also strike a bargain with the Shadow-Mirror, in order to deal with the extraterrestrial Einst.

When the Earth Federation Army met with Wendolo and his Dikastes inside the White Star, Mekibos showed up with his Graterkin, attempting to dissuade his brother from continuing his campaign against the Earthlings, even trying to disable his machine. However, Wendolo anticipated Mekibos' betrayal, and had his Graterkin rigged with an explosive device, effectively killing his brother without mercy. Wendolo would be defeated, but not before echoing his statement that humans would eventually destroy themselves, rather than extraterrestrials doing the deed, instead.
Fury
El-Selda Shun
Former Fury Knight and is Touya Shun's father. Defected from the Fury Knights because he did not agree with their ideals.

Fu-Lu Mulu
Gu-Landon Goetz
The representative knight of the Fury, and intent to subjugate the Earth for his people, although he would later use them for his own purposes in his quest to defeat the protagonists.

Jua-Mu Dalby
At the beginning of the storyline, he was an officer of the Fury Knights, subordinate to Al-Van Lunks. He was extremely faithful to him, and take anything that might happen to his superior very personally. When Al-Van Lunks was demoted, he was promoted to the rank of a full Fury Knight, but lost his sanity in the process. From then on, he became a cold-blooded, insane killer in the field of battle.

Killed during the second last scenario of the game.

Shana-Mia Eterna Fura
The leader of the Fury. She does not want to subjugate the Earth, nor does she want to wipe out the Earthlings, but is powerless to do anything. Appealed for Shun's help repeatedly in his dreams at the beginning of the game.

Shura
Altis Tarl
*Name: Altis Tarl
*AKA: Altis of the Flash, Al
*Voice Actor: Yasunori Masutani
*Status: Shura; deceased
*Rank: Shura General
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Phorka Albark, Phernand Albark (Sworn Brother), Maythis Mark (Possible lover), Alkaid Nassh
*Mecha: Mardikt (Compact 3)

Altis Tarl is a general of the Shura Army, regarded as one of the most powerful between the ranks of the Shura. Despite his status and strength, he is an honorable man and dislikes underhanded tactics, unlike Mizal. He forms a close bond with his fellow general, Maythis Mark, and is known as the sworn brother of both Phorka and Phernand Albark.

In Compact 3, Altis found out about Mizal's foul play about brainwashing Phernand, and he collaborated with Maythis to wake Phernand up from the hypnosis. His part was to play along with Mizal's schemes to buy Maythis some time to find the cure. This pitted him against Phorka, who defeated him in a fair match. With his dying breath, Altis inherits his will to stop Mizal and save the Shura race to Phorka.

Altis reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden, seen directly advising Phorka, something he has never done in Compact 3. He was not killed in a fair fight, however, Altis was slain when protecting Phorka from an attack by Duminuss' homunculi Tiz, which is later revealed as Arco in disguise.

Alkaid Nassh
*Name: Alkaid Nassh
*AKA: Shura King
*Voice Actor: Chafurin
*Status: Shura; deceased
*Rank: Shura King
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: -
*Mecha: Extim, Raha Extim (Compact 3)

Alkaid Nassh is the leader of the Shura race. As his race was dying, he was struck with the decision to jump between dimensions, to find a new place for the Shura race to live the way it used to be: to continue fighting, as per their lifestyle and customs. He sets his sights on Earth, but as the former Shura home was dying, his power was diminishing. Upon arriving on the world, Alkaid allocated the command of the army mostly to his advisor, Mizal Touval. Though he was aware of Mizal's traitorous scheming, he didn't mind so much, as it also went along with the Shura's customs, creating more fights in the realm.

Eventually, Alkaid found Mizal dead by the hands of Phorka Albark, Phernand Albark and Maythis Mark, the three having turned against their own society. Enraged, Alkaid prompted to slay them all, but only managed to kill Phernand and Maythis. When he encountered Phorka again, Alkaid was totally defeated, as Phorka has gained a new meaning and strength in fighting within his Londo Bell allies. After hearing his reasons, Alkaid felt satisfied that he could see how their race was going, and as he Alkaid perished, the strife between dimensions created during the battle was repaired and everyone returned to their respective worlds.

In Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden, Alkaid brought forth the mobile space fortress, Swordian, of Super Robot Wars Scramble Commander, and makes it the fortress of the Shura Army.

Arco Katwor
*Name: Arco Katwor
*AKA: Arco of the Transformation
*Voice Actor: Asou Tomohisa
*Status: Shura; deceased
*Rank: N/A
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Mizal Touval (Superior)
*Mecha: Valefor copy (Compact 3), Mironga (OG Gaiden)

Arco Katwor is a Shura subordinate of Mizal Touval. Instead of specializing on a certain Shura God, Arco relies heavily on his doppleganger abilities, which allows him to meld with the enemy ranks and disrupt their actions. Arco's final act was to impersonate Phernand Albark and he made his last stand against Phorka Albark. In his dying breath, he wishes that he could have been born in a smarter body.

He reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden, where he did most of Mizal's ploy, including the kidnapping of Shouko Azuma. He is later given a Mironga and killed Altis. He later tried to do the same on Maythis, but Alion interrupted his attempt and he made his last stand together with Mizal.

Alion Lucada
*Name: Alion Lucada
*AKA: Freedom Knight
*Voice Actor: Shibuya Shigeru
*Status: Shura; deceased (Compact 3 only)
*Rank: Shura General
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: N/A
*Mecha: Agares (Compact 3, OGs/OG Gaiden)

Alion Lucada is a self-styled Freedom Knight, but serving as a Shura General. He has a pragmatic, realistic view in life and battle, but tends to be laid back and enjoys fighting very much. He would constantly battle Phorka Albark, only to be defeated soundly each time. In his last battle, Alion admitted that Phorka cheated with the help of his Londo Bell allies, yet this enabled him to become stronger. Alion's last farewell was that he will be waiting for a rematch with Phorka in the great beyond of the afterlife, confident that he'll win during their next duel.

Alion also appears in the bonus segments of Super Robot Wars Original Generations, being one of the earlier Shura to face the Earth Federation Army and reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden. Unlike in Compact 3, however, Alion remains and allies with the Earth Federation Army.

Magnaz Ald
*Name: Magnaz Ald
*AKA: Magnaz of Heavy Quake
*Voice Actor: Miyazawa Tadashi
*Status: Shura; deceased
*Rank: N/A
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Mizal Touval (Superior)
*Mecha: Andras (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)

Magnaz Ald is one of the Shura Generals of the Shura army, and works under Mizal Touval. He is very aloof and underestimates his opponents easily, placing himself on a high position. However, when defeated, it is not seldom that he instead blames it to the power of his own Shura God. Magnaz continually battled against Phorka and was humiliated with each defeat every time. While he thought he was fighting on his own accord, during his last battle, Phorka revealed that he was only Mizal's pawn all along. As he died, Phorka told him to head for the underworld, carrying the knowledge about him being just a mere tool.

Magnaz reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden. He was involved in a small rivalry with Sanger Zonvolt. At one occasion, he also harasses Touma Kanou, who made a cameo in the game. Interestingly, Magnaz shares the same seiyuu as Touma's future rival, Baran Doban.

Maythis Mark
*Name: Maythis Mark
*AKA: Maythis of the Ice Spear, May
*Voice Actor: Yamaguchi Yuriko
*Status: Shura; deceased (only in Compact 3)
*Rank: Shura General
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Altis Tarl (Lover)
*Mecha: Peirines (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)

Maythis Mark is the only female Shura General introduced to the story, and as her nickname concluded, she uses a Shura God that controls ice, Peirines. Her hairstyle somewhat resembles the hairstyle of Haman Karn, of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ's fame. She is deeply attached to Altis Tarl and somewhat loved him.

Maythis is first introduced as a constant foe to Phorka. However, when she learned from Altis about Mizal's scheming, while brainwashing Phernand Albark, she was infuriated with the Shura advisor. However, Altis recommended that she quickly finds a cure for Phernand's unbending rage. Maythis was successful in her task, but was too late to prevent Altis' death. Enraged that Mizal was behind that also, Maythis confronted him while he was facing the Londo Bell, Phorka and Phernand. She shoved the antidote to Phernand, curing him, and worked together with him and Phorka to finish Mizal once and for all. Just like Phernand, Maythis also reconsiders to join Phorka in his quest for a new lifestyle of Shura, but the arrival of Shura King Alkaid Nassh put that consideration in an abrupt end. Maythis joined Phernand in an attempt to buy some time for Phorka and the Londo Bell to escape, but it resulted in her death. Even so, she was glad that she could meet Altis again in the afterlife.

Maythis reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden. Like Phernand and Alion, Maythis was spared from her death fate, but she did not join the protagonist group.

Mizal Touval
*Name: Mizal Touval
*AKA: Mizal of the Severe Earthquake
*Voice Actor: Tōru Ōkawa
*Status: Shura; deceased
*Rank: N/A
*Affiliations: Shura Army (Compact 3, OG Gaiden)
*Relatives and Personal Affiliations: Arco Katwor, Magnaz Ald (Subordinate), Alkaid Nassh (Liege)
*Mecha: Glasyalabolas (Compact 3)

Mizal Touval is the main strategist of the Shura Army and advisor to the Shura King Alkaid Nassh. He was given the command of the army while Alkaid was restoring his strength, after the Shura jumped through dimensions to reach Earth. However, Mizal had plans of his own. His ambition was to usurp the power of the Shura and overthrow Alkaid, establishing himself as King. In the process to do so, he manipulated the links between various dimensions to gather the strengths of the dimensions there and make it his own. To that end, he conspired with various enemy factions, even his own Shura army, indifferent about the casualties that occur on both sides.

Mizal was also responsible for brainwashing Phernand Albark. After doing that, he attempted to coax Phorka to join him in ridding of Alkaid, but in turn, revealed to Altis and Maythis of his own traitorous schemes, infuriating the latter. Mizal would set Altis up to fight against Phorka, with Phorka emerging victorious and killing Altis. It was his miscalculation that caused Phernand to turn his rage towards him, instead. Mizal retreated and requested more soldiers from Alkaid, but was later confronted by Phorka, Maythis and a recovered Phernand. Their combined strength overwhelmed and killed Mizal, destroying the traitor for good.

Mizal reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden, where he contacted Duminuss to further his plan to overthrow Alkaid, so much he was given a squad of Bartoll. Unlike in Compact 3, however, Mizal lived longer than Alkaid, he was killed after the latter was dead.

The Database
It is important to note that some of the members of the Database are based upon data from the Ardygun Family, Super Robot Wars W's protagonists.

Inference
Inference is the program in charge of inferring data into the network. Although he is the head villan in the first playthrough of the game, subsequent playthroughs reveal that he is just a puppet; the true villan is his right-hand man, Critic. He survives the events of the game, planning to start over with more emphasis on memories than pure data.

Inference is based upon data gathered from Kazuma, the only male child in the Ardygun Family.

Critic
Critic is the program in charge of making critical decisions based on the data collected, though it seems that Inference is the one who hold all the power in the network. Critic manages to control Inference by taking advantage of his feelings. Although Critic is terminated by Inference in the first playthrough, in all subsequent playthroughs, he reveals his true nature and betrays Inference, only to be terminated by the Ardygun Family.

Regulate
Regulate is in charge of regulating the systems that keep the Database running smoothly. When she detects that something is wrong, she defects from the Database with Aria and joins the Ardygun Family to restore the network to its normal state.

She is based upon data gathered from Blessfield's deceased wife, Yuumi.

Applicant
Applicant is the program in charge of applying enforcement to races that defy the system. He tries and fails to stop the Ardygun Family from breaching the final defenses to the Database's stronghold.

He is based upon data gathered from Blessfield, the head of the Ardygun Family.
Other Beings
Dark Brain
Dark Brain is the main antagonist of the Great Battle series, he is later turned into the main antagonist of Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden.

Dark Brain is widely known as a being of negative emotions, in a way that as long as negative emotions existed, he would still be alive. He is the arch-nemesis of Warrior Roar and his sister, Warrior Emmy. It was known that he resided in another universe before moving on to the Original Generation universe. He was also noted to be the creator of Duminuss, both the Original Generation version and the Super Robot Wars Reversal version. As hinted in the Reversal storyline, Dark Brain might have used several methods to trick the Duminuss of that universe to think that she killed its creator.

After a fatal battle against Roar and Emmy, Dark Brain stumbled onto the Original Generation Universe. With Roar weakened as a spirit form, and Emmy nowhere to be seen, except her armor and her jet ship G Thunder Gate, Dark Brain decided to make his move. He sent out one of his creations, Duminuss, to claim Emmy's Armor and the G Thunder Gate, and then discover the 12 Keys to make him materialize into the world. Two of them includes the Compatible Kaiser's Over Gate Engine and the Excellence's Time Flow Engine. In the meantime, Dark Brain took over the mobile fortress Swordian and converted its guards into his minions, this was done long before the Shura Army took over the fortress, thus they were unaware of Dark Brain's presence all along.

Duminuss succeeded in obtaining the Time Flow Engine by capturing Raji Montoya and Mizuho Saiki and had them create a new Engine from scratch, and she moved to the Swordian Fortress, knowing that Warrior Roar, now inhabiting the body of Kouta Azuma, would bring the Compatible Kaiser to her, and it would open the gate to summon Dark Brain. However, she was badly defeated by the Earth Federation Army, new allies of Warrior Roar. When Dark Brain appears, he dubbed her Dynamis3 and called her a failed product, and proceeded to eliminate her. When Dark Brain attempted to destroy Duminuss' last homunculi, Despoiniz, he was intercepted by the Earth Federation Army, and after a long battle ensued, Dark Brain was defeated. However, he did not completely die and it was speculated that he would one day return.

Here's a little bit of trivia: On certain Great Battle games, Dark Brain helps Roar in one way or another (one cetain games he even claims that he has reformed), in one of those games he is a NPC that sells items and whenever he speaks, he does so with jokes and a Kansai accent. When you send him off for good in in OG Gaiden, he starts mumbling in Kansai.

Personality And Traits
Touma Kanou is a hot-blooded character, has a strong sense of justice, and is probably one of the most innovative Banpresto Original pilots, as he invented new, stronger attacks with each upgrade to his machine (Rising Meteor and JinRai to RaiOh and DaiRaiOh, respectively). In Alpha 3, Touma is initially trained by Tetsuya Tsurugi of Great Mazinger and Guy Shishio of GaoGaiGar, and then later hones his skills with many pilots from almost all the Super Robot series (e.g. Kazuya from Tosho Daimos and Fan Li from Gaiking - the Alpha Numbers encompasses several gifted athletes). In his battles against the Balmarians, he develops a fierce rivalry with Baran Doban.

History
Touma Kanou works as a part-time delivery boy. While delivering goods to the Tomine Labs, the Balmarian begin their second invasion of Earth and attacks the city where the labs reside. Taking no chances, Minaki Tomine, the daughter of the lab's director, persuades Touma to pilot the experimental RaiOh robot, in order to fight the invaders. Although Touma has no piloting experience, the strength of the machine is more than a match for the Balmarians, and he successfully defeats them. He then joins the Alpha Numbers, and receives piloting training from Tetsuya Tsurugi and Guy Shishio.

At times, the LIOH System within the RaiOh would kick in, feeding Touma large amounts of adrenaline to power his attacks and increase his piloting abilities. But continued usage of the system takes a heavy toll for him, as he goes berserk in one mission, and begins to attack his allies. It would take Sanger Zonvolt in his Dygenguard to bring him under control. Seeing that the LIOH system cannot be used for Touma, Minaki replaces it with the Direct Motion Link System, giving him easier maneuverability and control with the machine. In addition, Touma invents the Rising Meteor attack, surprising the Alpha Numbers at the speed of his training and skill.

The conflict with the Balmarians would create a rivalry between Touma and notable Balmarian Baran Doban. His encounters with Baran and his Bemidoban would result in the RaiOh severely damaged after one sortie. This would give Minaki the opportunity to finally give the robot its intended upgrade. The DaiRaiOh would eventually roll out, customized so that only Touma would be its pilot - in fact, any other pilot would have trouble simply walking. Its power becomes incomparable to the obsolete RaiOh; to emphasize, in its first sortie, Touma destroys 100 Balmarian units single-handedly with ease.

Touma and Baran would do battle again, but ends up having his DaiRaiOh damaged, with parts of the armour over the right eye destroyed, leaving behind a distinctive scar. Touma requests that the scar stays on the DaiRaiOh, but Minaki equips an eye-patch over it. After one sortie, which ends up having Touma taken to the medical ward in the Archangel battleship from injuries during battle, Touma becomes increasingly depressed that he doesn't have enough strength with the machine to fight his enemies, and asks Minaki to reinstall the LIOH system. Although unwilling at first, she complies and has the system built back into the DaiRaiOh.

Hazal Gozzo and his Vaikran would prove too much for the Alpha Numbers in one battle, and Touma activates the LIOH system in order to face him, but ends up being beaten back. However, he refuses to be defeated once again, and musters up all his courage and skill, along with the encouragement from his allies, to stand up and keep fighting. This flow of emotions completely overpowers the LIOH system, to the point where the system's limits are practically broken by Touma's own strength. With Minaki activating the plasma drive in the machine to its maximum, he delivers the thunderous, new JinRai technique to Hazal, driving him and his forces to retreat. With a new attack at his disposal, Touma, filled with greater determination to win, leads the Alpha Numbers to the Balmarian homeworld to end the war against Earth.

He and his allies manages to defeat the spirit emperor, Ruach Ganeden, but Keisar Ephes was still a threat to Earth, if not, the entire galaxy. Touma would eventually deliver the final attack to Keisar Ephes, in coordination with Sanger as Keisar Ephes threatened to harm Minaki, and destroy him. Though both Touma and Sanger would almost be considered missing in action after the destruction of Keisar Ephes, both of them managed to return safely. The events of Alpha 3 concludes with Touma, now working as a pilot for experimental robots for the Tomine Labs, under Minaki's supervision.

Notes
In Alpha 3, if Touma Kanou is not chosen as the main character, Sanger Zonvolt would become Baran Doban's combat rival for the duration of the game.

Touma also made a cameo in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden.

Personality And Traits
18 year-old Ryoto Hikawa is a bashful, kind-hearted boy, though he tends to think pessimistically. His family owns a karate dojo, and being the youngest child in his family of many older sisters, Ryoto is an obedient person, and prefers not to engage in combat with others. As a pilot, he is not unskillful, but usually not on par with some of the elite pilots in his unit. As well, he develops difficulty in being able to convey his feelings. Because of this, Ryoto comes to hate himself for being who he is, mirroring Shinji Ikari of Neon Genesis Evangelion. However, he likes working with machines, and is an expert engineer and developer, This is shown through his aid in the creation of the Mao Industries' Huckebein MK III.

Ryoto has Psychodriver abilities, as well as reaction times comparable to SRX Team's Ryusei Date. Both of them are shown to be above average Burning PT players in the animated Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars. A major stumbling block in his abilities to become a powerhouse is that he, in Adler Koch's terms, "does not possess a killer instinct."

History
Ryoto Hikawa is one of the few players of the Burning PT game to catch the eye of the Divine Crusaders, and is drafted into their force. However, due to his lack of aggression, he is demoted to the grunt units. His unit is assigned to intercept the Hagane, but he becomes too reluctant to attack the Hagane's Personal Trooper units. After the rest of his unit is defeated, Ryoto is captured by the crew of the Hagane, where it is discovered that his commander had hidden a bomb on his Lion, intending for the Hagane to capture him, where the bomb would detonate and severely damage the ship, killing Ryoto in the process. Ryoto eventually decides to join them in their fight against the Divine Crusaders, and later, the Aerogaters.

After the events of Original Generation, he decides to work for Mao Industries, developing new mecha for them. He becomes the pilot of the Huckebein MK III, which is first displayed against the Inspectors' Mekibos, and recklessly orders the docking sequence between the Huckebein MK III and the AM Gunner unit, piloted by Rio Mei Long. Later on, he is the test pilot for the Boxer module-equipped Huckebein MK III.

In Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Animation, Ryoto serves as an engineer/mechanic aboard the Hagane, tasked to analyze a captured Bartoll unit, after the ATX Team's second encounter with the enemy.

Personality And Traits
Princess Shine Hausen is the last of the royal family of the small, Mediterranean fictional nation of Riksent. A straight-forward, well-mannered young girl of high nobility (though at times, she may speak casually out of line), 12 year-old Shine holds her country and its citizens close to her heart, and wants nothing more than to protect her home. At first, her nature of being royalty makes her unlikable, as she orders people around, to an extent, but SRX Team member Raidiese F. Branstein reminds her though she might hold a title, she cannot have her way with everything. Shine was instantly smitten by his words, and developed a romantic attachment to the pilot.

Shine possesses a form of precognition, enabling her to accurately anticipate future events. This ability is not unlike the abilities of a Psychodriver. However, Shine is not considered to be one herself. According to Joyce Luducl, her abilities are the strongest and most potent her bloodline has ever produced.

History
When Bian Zoldark of the Divine Crusaders was defeated and killed in battle, Dr. Adler Koch would temporarily head the faction. In his experimentations with his newly developed GEIM System, he had Tempest Hawker and Tenzan Nakajima kidnap Shine Hausen, as her precognitive abilities would allow the system to be used at its fullest, but the crew of the Hagane and the Hiryu Custom reached Riksent in time and prevent the abduction. Seeing a need to protect her, Shine would be entrusted to the Earth Federation Army, with Latune Subbota as her bodyguard.

However, Divine Crusaders operatives within the Federation would successfully kidnap Shine and bring her to Adler, who placed her in the pilot's seat of the new Valsion Custom, equipped with the GEIM System. Under the control of the system, she would pilot the machine and fight against the Hagane and Hiryu Custom crews, but they would successfully free her from the system's control and retrieve both her and her Valsion unit from the Divine Crusaders. When the L5 Campaign was over, she returned to Riksent and her duties as its princess.

But the threat of the Neo Divine Crusaders, in Original Generation 2, would force her to retreat from the country and inquire the help of the Federation Army, to fend off the occupiers. Shine would utilize the twin Fairlion units alongside Latune to liberate Riksent from Neo DC occupation, and join the Hagane and Hiryu Custom crews to fight their remaining battles with the Shadow-Mirror, Inspectors and the Einst.
Personality And Traits
In the Reversal storyline, Raul Gureden and Fiona Gureden are gendered, alternate existances of one another, thus they could not co-exist together. While Raul's love interest is Mizuho Saiki, Fiona's is Raji Montoya. Regardless of this difference, Raul and Fiona possessed many traits similar to each other and experienced the same set of events ordained in Reversal. In Reversal, there is only one Excellence unit.

In the Original Generation storyline, Raul and Fiona become siblings, with Fiona becoming Raul's slightly, younger twin sister, and pilots a second Excellence unit. At the age of 18, Raul is an optimistic young man who believes in his ideals, especially on the purpose of the Excellence unit. However, he's still rather inexperienced, in terms with expressing his feelings with Mizuho, which sometimes leads to embarrassing moments when they are alone together. Likewise, 18 year-old Fiona shares her brother's optimism, but expresses great concern for his well-being, due to his recklessness and knack for getting into trouble, usually by himself. Fiona often feels that her position as the Excellence pilot is what hinders Raji's continuing research on the Time Flow Engine.

History
Reversal Timeline
In Super Robot Wars Reversal, Raul/Fiona is a member of the Excellence Team, a group that develops a machine intended for rescue operations, while running on the experimental Time Flow Engine, in which Raul/Fiona is the pilot for the unit. In the Reversal storyline, the future has been already bleak, as the events of Nadesico: The Prince Of Darkness and Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack are at its dawn, which would further plunge the world into more chaos. During a test run on the Excellence unit, Raul's/Fiona's team, consisting of Raji Montoya, the engine's operator, Mizuho Saiki, the machine's mechanic, and himself/herself, was attacked by a mysterious being, controlling several robots that was used for test targets. They were saved by both Bright Noa and Ruri Hoshino and followed them, in hopes to promote the Excellence and its use.

Eventually, Raul/Fiona would re-encounter the mysterious attacker back from the test site, the enigmatic Duminuss. Raul/Fiona attacked Duminuss, only to be defeated and in the process, the Excellence's Time Flow Engine ran amok and created a time portal, sending him/her 5 years into the past, where he/she would encounter the younger versions of the Nadesico and Gundam cast. Raul/Fiona and the Excellence team helped the people there to suppress the brewing wars, joining under the Round Knights, a group similar to the Londo Bell faction in various Super Robot Wars titles or the Alpha Numbers from the Super Robot Wars Alpha series, and secretly used technologies that was suppose to be discovered in the future, allowing the Excellence to obtain a variety of frames for combat.

During the events based on the ending of Zambot 3, where Uchuta Kamie and Keiko Kamikita were suppose to sacrifice themselves to ensure the victory of the team, Raul/Fiona decided to alter history by saving them, as he/she formed a strong friendship with the Round Knights. Raul/Fiona would make more history-altering actions, such as convincing Char Aznable, during his guise as Quattro Bajina, to the point that he'd no longer wish to execute the Axis asteroid drop. However, during all this, Duminass would continue to watch over Raul/Fiona, waiting for a chance to take away and use the Excellence's Time Flow Engine for itself.

Raul/Fiona would eventually face off against Duminuss and its three creations, but upon Duminuss' defeat, he/she found out that Duminuss' purpose was not to destroy, as Raul/Fiona originally believed. Created by a human, all Duminuss wished was to find out its purpose in life, by its creator. With Duminuss destroyed, Raul/Fiona and the Excellence Team returned back to their original timeline, now changed due to his deeds in the past. Eventually, they received a call from a sponsor, who would like to utilize the Excellence as it was originally intended: as a rescue operations machine.

Original Generation Timeline
In Super Robot Wars Original Generations, Raul, Fiona, Raji and Mizuho does not originate from the future, but from the Shadow-Mirror universe. Lemon Browning took an interest in the Time Flow Engine and was pursuing the Excellence Team for it. Eventually, the team was ambushed by Axel Almer, who quickly gained the upper hand by disabling Fiona's Excellence unit, putting it in critical condition and demanded Raul to surrender his Excellence machine. Suddenly, Duminuss appeared and further damaged Fiona's Excellence, causing its Time Flow Engine to malfunction. Desperate to save his sister, Raul tried to reach her, but he was sucked into a newly-created portal, caused by the Time Flow Engine, along with Fiona, Raji and Mizuho.

Raul, Raji and Mizuho would appear in the Original Generation universe, being thrown right before the Earth Federation Army's assault on the Moon Cradle, which was under occupation by the Inspectors. Raul and his teammates joined up with the crew of the Hiryu Custom, who were en route to attack the facility, in hopes of finding Fiona, and was eventually involved in the defeat of Shadow-Mirror, Inspectors and Einst. He would later stay on the Kurogane, alongside Sanger Zonvolt, Ratsel Feinschmecker, Yuuki Jaggar and Ricarla Borgnine. During his time in the Original Generation universe, Raul has yet to re-encounter Duminuss; even though it made an appearance inside the Hellgate facility, Raul was busy repelling the Bartolls on the outside. However, he did encounter Duminuss' three creations, before the assault on the facility.

Raul later lost Raji and Mizuho, after they were captured by Duminuss, but was reunited with Fiona, when Fighter Roar clashed with his brainwashed sister, Emi. The Over Gate Engine inside the Compatible Kaiser caused a dimensional gate to open and brought forth his sister. Fiona would be tended aboard the Hiryu Custom and was ready to join her brother in the upcoming battle, using the new Excellence Lightning and Eternal frames that Raji and Mizuho left behind. They rescued both of them in the Swordian Fortress, and Raji, along with Mizuho, rode together with Raul in his Excellence Lightning to battle the Dark Brain and later, Shu Shirakawa.

With the war over, Raul and Fiona agreed to dismantle their Excellence units, as Raji and Mizuho prepared a new machine for rescue operations. The siblings also opened a new repair shop, named L&E Corporation, in reference to their final frames. Additionally, they also adopted the only surviving homunculi of Duminuss, Despoiniz.
Katia Grineal is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series. She has appeared as a sub-pilot for the main character in Super Robot Wars Judgement only.

Personal Data
Name: Katia Grineal <br>
AKA: Catia Grignard <br>
Status: Human Cytron Interface <br>
Rank: N/A <br>
Affiliations: Touya Shun (Partner), Calvina Coulange (Partner), Festenia Muse (Friend), Melua Melna Meia (Friend) <br>

Personality And Traits
Among the three girls, Katia Grineal appears to be the eldest, with a noticeable leadership aspect. A polite, quiet person, she is emotionally stable and speaks seriously, opting to follow a more riskier and dangerous path when quick decisions need to be made. Katia's stubbornness in refusing to change her opinion has caused few confrontations with the protagonist, as well as Festenia. Though her frank nature is displeasing, she cares for her younger friends very much, and always keeps an eye out for them, especially when the situation gets the better of them emotionally.

As a sub-pilot, Katia has the ability to interface with Cytron Control system, a piece of Fury technology that enhances a mech's performance in various ways. In Katia's case, the unit's movement capabilities increases, allowing it to dodge attacks more easily, while all weapons are given an increase in range, save for attacks dealt at point-blank range.

History
When El-Selda Shun decided to defect from the Fury, in hopes of saving humanity, he broke Festenia, Katia and Melua from their confinement on the moon, stealing one of the mobile machines. However due to their poor piloting abilities, they could not escape far enough without being caught. In the end, they crashed near the protagonist's whereabouts (in Touya's route, they would crash land in his school during one of Dr. Hell's attacks; in Calvina's route, they would appear while the Nadesico is engaged in combat). Noting the machine's reaction to the chosen protgaonist, the girls persuade on Touya/Calvina to pilot the machine, while one of them would become the sub-pilot. From this point on, the player would have the ability to decide which of the three girls will become Touya's/Calvina's sub-pilot, whenever the mech is sortied out to battle.

Trivia
* Katia Grineal's appearance reflects that of Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls. However, her personality reflects Blossom's.

History
Alpha Series
The man currently known as Cobray Gordon was originally named Ayin Barshem, a defective clone in Shiva Gozzo's Barshem series of clones, themselves based upon Ingram Prisken, the first in the series. While out on a recon mission near Earth, Ayin encountered the Astranagant's remains. What Ayin didn't know was that Ingram's soul was still controlling it. Taking no chances, Ingram commanded the Astranagant to absorb Ayin's Varuch Ben. What happened next was unexpected: the Astranagant, instead of simply absorbing the mech, completely fused with it, creating the Werkbau. Ingram's soul then tried to possess Ayin's body, only to be overwhelmed by a newly created soul. This amnesic soul would fabricate itself a new name: Cobray Gordon.

After a while, the Titans encountered the strange mech and tried to capture both it and its pilot, only to be stopped with the help of reinforcements showing up in the form of Arado Balanga in his Wild Wurger and Seolla Schweizer in her Wild Falken. Cobray was drafted into the Alpha Numbers after the scuffle, and seeing how potentially dangerous the Werkbau can be, Cobray would be given a Mass Production Type Nu Gundam to pilot, for the time being. A chance encounter with Calico McCready, the leader of the elite Golar Golem forces, as well as another product of the Barshem series, re-awakened Ingram's will. From then on, Cobray and Ingram would constantly struggle for control over Ayin's body. Eventually, Cobray was taken to a dimension devoid of time and space, where Ingram would reveal that he could not control Cobray, because Cobray's will to survive was too strong; it was so strong, in fact, that it was absorbing Ingram's own soul. With the last of his strength, Ingram passes the title of Time Diver onto Cobray, which, in turn, transformed the Werkbau into the Dis Astranagant. Cobray would then re-emerge to help the Alpha Numbers defeat Hazal Gozzo once and for all.

After this incident, Cobray would continue his quarrel with Calico and would eventually learn that the Golar Golem leader was jealous of him, because Calico believed that Ingram, the Originator, would choose him over Cobray in his time of need. Cobray would defeat Calico, unveiling his enemy's face. As a result, Cobray decides to live for the future, instead of dwelling in the past. He would go on to help the Alpha Numbers defeat the Spirit Emperor, Ruach Ganeden, and later, Keisar Ephes. At the end of his story, Cobray leaves his friends behind to continue his duties as the Time Diver.

Original Generation Series
Cobray makes a brief appearance in Super Robot Wars Original Generations, though he is not present in the current universe. He is seen speaking with Ingram, saying he could not enter the Original Generation universe yet, while urging Ingram to break free from Euzeth Gozzo's control.

Notes
The prologue for the animated Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars featured Ingram and Cobray fighting one another in their respective Astranagant and Dis Astranagant machines. Since the animated series is a retake on the events of the Original Generation game, this sequence is highly debated by fans as a possible outcome for future events in the Original Generation universe and its games. However, since Ingram never used the Astranagant in that particular timeline, this battle could be nothing more than a dream sequence, or perhaps a reflection of the meta-physical battle between the two in the Alpha 3 timeline, when Ingram tried to take over Cobray's body, with Cobray fighting back against the latter's influence.

In episode 25, Cobray makes a physical appearance, arriving in the Astragant to free the SRX from Septuagint. The Astragant then merges with the SRX, allowing Ryusei to use its Ain Soph Aur attack to destroy Septuagint.
Ruach Ganeden (commonly misspelled Ruaf Guneden) is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series. In canon, he pilots the Geber Ganeden.

Appearances
Ruach has appeared in the following games:

*Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 - Non-playable enemy character

Theme Music
* Twin Icon - Default theme.

Physical Appearance
Ruach Ganeden has the appearance of a young boy of about ten years old. He has platinum blonde hair, fair skin and golden eyes. While full-body illustrations of him have yet to be seen, his portraits in Alpha 3 show that he wears light green armor (more ceremonial than protective, as it does not cover his chest), and a silver diadem. A thin band of green metal floats above his head.

History
Ruach Ganeden is the apparent ruler of the Ze Balmary Empire, the major antagonist body in some of the Super Robot Wars games. The Ze Balmary Empire played its most important role in the Alpha series. Ruach is the official holder of the Spirit Emperor (Japanese 霊帝/Reitei) title and is thus revered by the Balmarians as a god. The Spirit Emperor is believed to be the direct representative (one might say avatar) of Zfylud, the supreme Balmarian deity. This imperial cult can be seen as similar to those that appear in Japanese and Roman culture.

As the Spirit Emperor and a psychodriver, Ruach Ganeden has the sole right and ability to pilot the Geber Ganeden, Balmar's angelic mechanical guardian. It is later discovered that as long as a powerful psychodriver is inside the Ganeden's core, the machine can be commanded by anyone.

When the original Spirit Emperor, Augustus, left his throne 500 years before the beginning of Alpha 3, he chose Ruach as his replacement. Ruach was biologically altered to extend his lifespan for this reason. However, his altered physiology caused his psychic abilities to become highly unstable. He required sustenance in the form of human sacrifice (Balmarians are genetically identical to humans from Earth, having been descended from the same ancestor race), which fed him the psyche of the sacrificial victims. An entire line of priestesses was chosen for the sole purpose of being sacrificed to Ruach, and in Alpha 3, the next in the sacrificial line was Princess Armana Ticvah.

As Augustus festered into Keisar Ephes, Ruach ruled on the Balmarian imperial throne as his puppet. Ruach was selfish, apathetic, and egotistical, (possibly due to the influence of his master, Keisar Ephes), characteristics which incited Prime Minister Shiva Gozzo to plot to overthrow him.

Upon his defeat in Alpha 3, Ruach retreats into the vast underground chapel beneath Balmar's capital city. Having been physically and psychically exhausted from battle with the Alpha Numbers, Ruach easily succumbs to a physical beating, courtesy of Shiva Gozzo himself. Shiva then gains control of the Geber Ganeden by kidnapping the psychodriver Irui GanEden, core of the Earth-based Nashim Ganeden, and using her as the Geber Ganeden's core, as he battles the Alpha Numbers.

Trivia
*Ruach Ganeden, like many other Balmarian names, is Hebrew in origin. Ruach means "air," "breath" or "spirit" (these terms are used interchangeably in Hebrew), while Ganeden is the Hebrew name for the Garden of Eden.

*Ruach's battle BGM is entitled "TWIN ICON". The song is also used as Irui Ganeden's BGM in Super Robot Wars Alpha 2. It might be noted that the Ruach's Geber and Irui's Nashim Ganeden are essentially twins, which might explain the reason behind the title.

*Ruach and Irui's strongest attacks, "Catch the Sun" and "Follow the Sun", respectively, are possibly references to the tokusatsu series Sun Vulcan. Both lines came from the series' theme song, and the three heroes were codenamed Eagle, Shark and Panther, which also happen to be the animals the three guardians of both Ganedens were based on.
Personality And Traits
18 year-old Leona Garstein is part of the well-known Branstein house, living under its family branch, the Garsteins. A calm, prideful girl, she is raised and educated in the space colonies, eventually joining up with the United Colony Corps. Like her cousin Rai, Leona is an excellent pilot, graduating at the top of her class, and is assigned to the Troye Unit, an elite, all-female mobile space unit charged with protecting the colonies. But unlike many characters, Leona is oddly domineering, mostly towards her boyfriend, Tasuku Shinguji. To him, her attitude seems cold and overbearing, but it's her constant concern for his safety that makes her keep close to him. While her cousin, Elzam von Branstein, is skilled at making gourmet food, ironically, Leona has difficulty in preparing a dish that won't make Tasuku faint after eating it. In fact, the only meal that she can prepare that Tasuku enjoys is porridge.

As with all the protagonists from Super Robot Wars Alpha, Leona is a Psychodriver. However, this is not a major point in the Original Generation story until she receives the Siegerlion, which is equipped with a T-Link System.

History
Leona appears as a member of the United Colony Corps elite Troye Unit, fighting under her uncle Maier von Branstein and alongside her cousin Elzam, who is recruited into the Divine Crusaders. While she has minor doubts about the methods both forces are taking towards the Earth Federation government, she loyally stands by her family and fights against the Earth Federation Army.

Several times, she is forced into battle against the Hiryu Custom battleship and its crew, where is was repulsed. During the United Colony Corps' drop operation, she is sent away from the Troye Unit, which is destroyed in the ensuring battle against the Hiryu Custom. Finally, in a final mission, after the defeat of the Divine Crusaders and the United Colony Corps, she is thrown into battle against her other cousin, the SRX Team's Raidiese F. Branstein, fully expecting to die in the fight. However, she is also hit upon by a man she fought against several times in battle: the Hiryu Custom's Tasuku Shinguji. Between the two's efforts, she is shot down and captured. Moved by the concern her cousin shows for both her and Elzam, as well as the grief he exhibits over the deaths of his father and sister-in-law, she defects to the Earth Federation Army, fighting alongside the Hagane and Hiryu Custom during the Aerogater invasion.
:In the animated Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars, it is Elzam who advises her to defect to the Earth Federation Army, after Divine Crusaders officer, Adler Koch, is killed in action.

At the end of the war, she is asked by Tasuku to join the Octo Squad aboard the Hiryu Custom, which, to his surprise, she accepts. Since then, the two grow closer, to the point where she regularly attempts to make food for him and he diligently works on the designs of her new Siegerlion machine.
Ring Mao, in her Classic Timeline incarnation, is an 18-year old female, who has a small distrust for men, due to her placement in one of the four original character archetypes of Super Robot Wars F. In her Alpha and Original Generation incarnations, Ring is depicted to be 10 years older than her F counterpart, sporting a completely new physical appearance than the one she had in F, looking more like a businesswoman than a playful young adult. The Alpha and Original Generation Ring is no longer a pilot, but rather the second generation president of Mao Industries, a manufacturer of super and real robots, though she is still capable of piloting a mech, if the situation calls for it. Mitsuko Isurugi, head of Isurugi Industries, is her competition, in producing the best line of mechs. Ring's policy is unlike other corporations, she will never use attempts, such as selling out assets, in order to make her company profitable.

Ring, in her F incarnation, loves to keep multiple cats as pets and cooks, although her dishes, such as her mayonnaise curry, doesn't exactly go well for the people trying it. In all of her incarnations, she is close with Irmgult Kazahara, but doesn't appreciate the fact that he flirts with every woman he meets. In the Alpha and Original Generation universes, Ring is exceptionally furious when she discovers him having tea with a female employee at Mao Industries. Regardless, the two of them hold a very strong friendship, and through the years they've known each other, have learned how to function proficiently as a couple.
Personality And traits
21-year old Aya Kobayashi is the oldest daughter of Dr. Kenzo Kobayashi, the creator of the T-Link System. As captain of the SRX Team, she often looks out for the well-being of her teammates, both on and off the battlefield. Aya is also an adept Psychodriver, in fact, a very powerful one, for she is the key in forming the mighty SRX machine. A nice, charming woman, who enjoys walking around art museums, she looked up to ex-SRX Team Commander Ingram Prisken a lot before he betrayed the team and allied with the Aerogaters.

History
Aya Kobayashi, actually, is not the biological daughter of Kenzo Kobayashi, but one of his test subjects for his research on the T-Link System, years before the events of Original Generation occurred. Kenzo merely altered Aya's memories so she would respond to him like any daughter would to a father, but also to heighten her Psychodriver abilities, for Aya possessed unusually, strong psychic abilities. She would be enlisted into the Earth Federation Army and become the first member of the SRX Team, headed by Major Ingram Prisken. The arrival of Ryusei Date and Raidiese F. Branstein would complete the team, and begin their pilot training for the SRX unit.

Things would take a turn for the worst, when the first test in trying to combine the SRX would fail, as a result of sabotage from none other than Ingram, who revealed he was an Aerogater spy. The failed combination left Aya not only physically injured, but emotionally too, for she was hurt the most by Ingram's betrayal. However, she would continue assisting the Earth forces in the Aerogator invasion and eventually meet up with Ingram for one last battle. Before his defeat, Ingram tells Aya not to dwell on the events of her past, but focus on the start of a new future for herself. Ingram's dying words would serve purpose as the story of Original Generation 2 unfolds.

The SRX Team would be temporarily disbanded in Original Generation 2: Raidiese would be relocated to Hawaii with Kai Kitamura and Latooni Subota as part of the reformed Aggressors unit, while Ryusei and Aya would stay in Japan with Viletta Vadim and Irmgult Kazahara, in order to test out the new R-Blade robot and assist Kenzo with his research. When the Neo Divine Crusaders began their revolt, the team would be formed again, this time, with the addition of Mai Kobayashi, Aya's sister. But Mai was not just a sibling, for she was once Levi Tolar, the leader of the Aerogater invaders in the previous war. Thought dead, but recovered after searching through the wreckage of the Judecca, Kenzo would alter Levi's memories into that of Mai, as well as Aya's memories, so that the two would have heightened emotions, enabling the T-Link System to be used to its full advantage.

A turn for the worse would happen when Neo Divine Crusaders Agilla Setme would reveal the truth to both Kobayashi sisters about their origins, that being research subjects to Kenzo and having their memories altered for experimental purposes. Losing all reason at who she really she is, Aya was about to give up, but support and encouragement from the cast would make her realize that who she is now is what matters, thereby reflecting on the words Ingram gave her before he died. Aya would not harbour any ill will to Kenzo, in experimenting and altering her memories, for Kenzo was the closest thing she would ever have to a father, and Mai as a sister. With a new resolve, she, the SRX Team, and the rest of the Original Generation cast would do battle with the Neo Divine Crusaders, as well as the Shadow-Mirror, the Inspectors and the enigmatic Einst.

Aya Kobayashi in the Alpha timeline is completely similar to her Original Generation counterpart, both in history and personality. The only difference is that Levi was convinced to join the Londo Bell forces against the Aerogaters, thus reuniting the sisters. In Alpha 3, Aya would be captured by the Balmarians, after the SRX was nearly destroyed by Hazal Gozzo's Vaikran, and be taken to their homeworld. When the Alpha Numbers reached Balmar, they immediately rescued her, who at that time, was believed to be dead. Aya would take her seat in the new SRX Altered Banpreios and continue with the war against the Balmarians.

Personality And Traits
At 18-years old, Ryusei Date is an extremely hot-blooded young individual. A mecha otaku, Ryusei is heavily into mobile machines, specifically those of the super robot type. When he receives his R-1, he was disappointed at the fact that it was a real robot, but was surprised at the specifications of the SRX, where it is classified as a super-type. Ryusei has an odd habit of naming certain attacks, and often shouts them aloud when performing them, a la classic super robot pilots. He abbreviates some of the SRX's and Banpreios' attacks with the words "Tenjou Tenga", literally meaning "Heaven and Earth".

Before joining the SRX Team, Ryusei was a childhood friend with Kusuha Mizuha. Though she initially developed a crush on him, Ryusei didn't return the same feelings, either due to his obsession with mecha, or because he simply didn't share them. He does show some support for the relationship she develops with Brooklyn Luckfield, however. His relationship with the rest of the female cast of Original Generation is still in question, but it seems he is exceptionally close with Latooni Subota and Aya's sister, Mai. While he doesn't show much interest in women, he usually says that mechs with feminine shapes and appearances, like Lune Zoldark's Valsione, Lamia Loveless' Angelg or Virtual-ON's Fei-Yen the Knight, are cute.

History
Ryusei's unnamed father was a police officer, but was killed in the line of duty. His mother, Yukiko Date, spent her time at the local hospital, for unknown reasons. Rather than continuing his life with an education, Ryusei enters the Burning PT National Tournament, in hopes of winning the grand prize money and accommodating his mother's hospital bills. He loses; meanwhile, Earth Federation Army Major Ingram Prisken was scouting him, and decides to recruit him for the SRX Team, due to Ryusei's unique psychokinesis/psychic abilities that earn him classification as a Psychodriver. Ryusei agrees, but only if Yukiko was sent to a military hospital and treated for her illness. After given the initial rank of sergeant major, he meets up with fellow SRX Team members Aya Kobayashi and Raidiese F. Branstein and begins his training as a pilot. Although he begins poorly, he develops his piloting skills exceptionally, while also maturing in the way he thinks, after realizing that he is, after all, fighting in a real war, and not in some simulated battle.

In the course of Original Generation, Ryusei comes across other extraordinary pilots, and forms brief rivalries with such pilots as Kyosuke Nanbu of the ATX Team and Tenzan Nakajima of the Divine Crusaders. After Ingram defects to the Aerogaters, Ryusei is promoted to Second Lieutenant, prompting him to discover why his former commander had betrayed him and his team. For the rest of Original Generation, Ryusei has already become a formidable and recognized pilot, due to his involvement in the war. When the Aerogaters and Divine Crusaders are defeated, he serves as test pilot for new experimental units, such as the R-Blade, and will use it briefly in the events of Original Generation 2. He rejoins his SRX Team members when the Neo Divine Crusaders begins their revolt and once again pilots the SRX.

In the Alpha 3 storyline, the SRX was destroyed by Hazal Gozzo and his Vayikra. In the process, team captain Aya was taken captive by Balmarian forces. Without the SRX machine, Ryusei pilots the R-Blade Custom until the upgraded SRX is completed. When it arrives, he christens it "Banpreios" and along with Rai and Mai, sets about to rescue Aya from the Balmarians alongside the Alpha Numbers.

Notes
In the animated Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars, Tenzan Nakajima actually faces Ryusei in the finals of the Burning PT National Tournament and wins with ease. However, in the Original Generation game, Tenzan withdrew from the tournament, and Ryusei ends up becoming champion. Regardless, he gets recruited into the military on both instances, with the stipulation that the army covers his mother's hospital bills.
