New page

The ATX Team is a special combat team featured in Original Generations universe of Super Robot Wars and its name is a shorted abbreviation of Assault Trooper X-TYPE Team. The purpose of the team is to primarily develop and test high-performance real trooper prototypes with the end goal of mass-production as the Earth Federation Army's next generation unit as highlighted in the Dr. Radom's ATX Plan. Unlike the SRX Team, units developed by the ATX team do not rely heavily on EOT and focus on utilizing or improving current technology. The team is mainly headed by the scientist Maria Radom while the combat unit itself is currently lead by Kyosuke Nanbu. The ATX team is stationed in the Earth Federation Army's North American Langley Base and uses the word Assault as its call sign.

Members
The following people are currently affiliated or have been formerly affiliated with the ATX Team:

;Maria Radom
:The scientist responsible for weapons design on the ATX Team. Primarily credited with designing the Alteisen, Weissritter, Wildfalken, and Wildwurger.
;Kyosuke Nanbu
:Initially the newest member of the ATX Team in the first Super Robot Wars Original Generations, his performance allowed him to quickly rise in rank and take over as the leader of the ATX Team after the departure of Sanger Zonvolt. He previously went by the call sign Assault 4 before gaining Sanger's call sign of Assault 1 as the new leader of the ATX Team. He was originally scouted onto the team after being transferred out of the Far East Izu base for piloting skills.
;Excellen Browning
:The second member to be on the ATX Team and specializes in long range combat. The mood-maker of the team and the counterbalance to the overly serious Kyosuke and Sanger. She goes by the call sign Assault 2.
;Brooklyn "Bullet" Luckfield
:The third member of the ATX Team that is also a psychodriver. He goes by the call sign Assault 3.
;Lamia Loveless
:The fifth member of the ATX Team that was integrated into the team after being rescued in the beginning of the second Super Robot Wards Original Generations. She takes over Kyosuke's previous call sign of Assault 4.
;Kusuha Mizuha
:The sixth member to be included in the ATX Team in the second Super Robot Wars Original Generations. While not officially part of the ATX Team, she is included into the team alongside Bullet in the battle against the Inspectors. She goes by either call sign of Assault 4 or Assault 5 depending on whether Lamia is present.
;Sanger Zonvolt
:The original leader of ATX Team that went by the call sign of Assault 1. He leaves the team and defects to the Divine Crusaders, but never rejoins after the conflict between the Earth Federation and the Divine Crusaders end.

Units
The following units have been developed and/or used by the ATX Team:

;Alteisen
:A prototype for what would be the Gespenst Mk. III in the ATX Plan. The Alteisen is heavily armored and is equipped with close-ranged weapons and would work in tandem with the Weissritter This unit is meant to conduct quick frontal assaults and is piloted by Kyosuke.
;Alteisen Riese
:A revised upgrade of the Alteisen after it takes heavy damage in battle. With the proposed improvements by Kyosuke, Dr. Radom adds even more armor and firepower, its weight increased so much that another Tesla Unit was required for it to simply stand.
;Angelg
:Lamia's personal unit.
;Grungust Type Zero
:Sanger's prototype Grungust used for testing against giant enemies. Regardless of the size of the enemy, there is nothing its sword cannot cut.
;Huckbein Mk. II
:The next generation Huckbein developed by Mao Industries. While the Huckbein Mk. II is technically a direct competitor to the Alteisen and Weissritter, the circumstances of the war between the Divine Crusaders forced the ATX Team to use it. The Huckbein Mk. II is piloted by Bullet up until the end of the L5 campaign.
;Mass-produced Gespenst Mk. II
:The EFA's main personal trooper. These were used by the ATX-Team as temporary units until the arrival of the Alteisen and Weissritter. The units would then be given over to the Hiryu Kai.
;Mass-produced Gespenst Mk. II Type TT
:A specialized Gespenst Mk. II designed for use by psychodrivers and has a T-LINK system built in. Bullet would pilot one until he was given the Huckbein Mk. II.
;Rein Weissritter
:An alternate form of the Weissritter caused by the infestation of the Einst.
;Weissritter
:A Gespenst-based prototype that specializes in long-ranged combat. The Weissritter is armed with the multipurpose Oxtounge Rifle and works in tandem with the Alteisen to provide bombardment and cover fire. The Weissritter unit is piloted by Excellen.
