Clear the stage first stage in 7 or less turns. They join after the stage "Bright's Return" is cleared.
=== Vice Hero & Byalant ===
Before the stage "A New Enemy" or "Bright's Return" Kouji or Sayaka will ask whether you have a boyfriend/girlfriend.
If you choose that you don't have one then you get the Vice Hero immediately without a robot.
If you choose that you have one then you have to convince him/her during the stage "Into Space" or "Rise of the Titans" with the Byalant.
