I'm not sure that the "MP Great Mazinger #1" (playing 1-4 before 1-5) is required, I did it and got the MP Great Mazinger to spawn, I don't have the time to play again from the start up to scenario 16 to confirm this. I think it's not required because there is already another requirement of that type for stage 4A-2 (to be played before 4A-3) that does make sense for the story: Great General of Darkness has the MP Great Mazinger because your team was late battling at the other scenario, so that he stole the plan for Great Mazinger from the laboratory.
