Maybe something like: | |||

Honestly the best solution is prob to have just a game list, and then a timeline with Bests and rereleases and boxsets on another page.
== Story Sections (or lack there of) -- [[User:Lockerdown|Lockerdown]] 09:28, 30 November 2012 (PST) ==
Okay, does anyone not know how the games' storylines go? Alpha Gaiden, W, and K all have little snippits; but Z2/2.2 is the only one that has a stage by stage description (and yes I went through all the games that have pages). I can work on a couple of them if necessary, but how is it not filled up for most of them already? Especially the ones that have been translated in some way?

: Most of those games have story summaries on GameFAQs by MNeidengard, but for Z2 people were actively summarising as they played the games. MNeidengard also is very slow in his translations so it can be months before his work shows up. - [[User:Kraker2k|Kraker2k]] 10:11, 30 November 2012 (PST)

So, I'm aware of the Alpha Gaiden/2 side stuff with the Machinery Children, although I'm not sure if it's a manga or a light novel or what? And apparently there was a novel that just came out that provides new story for a team that could be featured in a future SRW, if not Dark Prison. I guess the real topic of discussion here is, how much side material is there? I know the 2ndOG book that came with the pre-order had a manga teaser and some other things (thinking about it now, I recall there being a teaser for a light novel, so I'm guessing that's what this most recent novel is), but outside of that is there anything older that we're unaware of? I'd really like to see it/become aware of it if it's there, and maybe work toward having it translated and linked to Akurasu, if not have some of it hosted here, if possible.

:We can make a page to collect this information, I'm only aware of a few of the bonuses that came with my preorders. On some side notes, the reply button is bugged on this version of the DiscussionThreading extension and I've missed quite a few of the messages already here, I apologize to everyone. Hopefully I'll get a forum up soon.

So yeah probably a good idea to look at the ordering of this. Something more Universe related would be cool and then the release date timeline could be moved elsewhere. - Sytax
well, I kinda agree, in other subject about this 'new series' added stuff that I presume you added, I think we should put that on the respective game's page instead.--Huckebein 03:17, 15 August 2007 (EDT) Edit: this needs the creation of a 'category:SRW', this way we could turn the main SRW page on a simple category index.--Huckebein 03:23, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
I added the "new series" column. These can be put on the respective game's page as well, but there needs to be a single table somewhere that shows this. People ask (on GameFAQs and SRWG) a lot about "what was the first game that X appeared in", and that's hard to answer if you can't see them all in a table.
If you want to put this on a separate page that's fine, but keep it in one table.
(One thing I think should be added is a mark to show which games are remakes/ports and which ones are new games.)
