* For Mazinkaiser, upgrades will carry over in NG+ to the temporary Mazinger Z unit. The same goes for Orgun, who will retain whatever upgrades you make to Detonator Orgun in a NG+
** This refers to the secret Mazinger Z you can get (though the game refers to the two Mazinger Zs as the same unit, they are not the same statwise
*** Choryujin and all of the male Ryus keep the same upgrade level - upgrade one, the rest will follow. Bonta-Kun and the Arbalest are the same, as are the Valhawk/Valstork/Valzacard and the Ryu Sisters (the Ryu Sisters do not share the same upgrades with the brothers after their first inheritance)
