Overview
Unlike most of the other Super Robot Taisen games Original Generation features original designs from Banpresto. This is also the first installment in the series to feature the Weapon Gauge system, where certain weapons can be interchangeable from one unit to another.
Units
Units in Super Robot Taisen units are broken down into 6 defined classes, with only 3 units falling outside these definitions. The units that fall outside those definitions are the cyberbuster, Giganscudo, the F-28, and the SF-29 Rangzen, due to having magical like properties.
BattleShips
Hiryu Custom
The Hiryu Custom can only be piloted by Lefina, and is the only unit she can pilot.
