Story
The Big O tells the story of Roger Smith, a Negotiator who lives and works in Paradigm City, also known as the "City of Amniesia", due to the fact that an unknown incident 40 years prior caused the loss of all the citizens' memory. Whenever a monstrous machine or creature surfaces to threaten the city, Roger faces off against them in Big O, a giant robot known as a "Megadeus" that is yet another part of Paradigm City's forgotten past.
The Big O in Super Robot Wars
Units from The Big O are all...big. This series gives you the Big O, probably one of the most tankiest units in the series. Unfortunately, this results with enemies from the series being equally as annoying to kill with the exception of Beck's fraudulent megadeus, the Beck Victory Deluxe. Roger's negotiation skills become an actual pilot ability in the recent Super Robot Wars Z series, making unit losses extremely forgiving by reducing repair costs for shot down units to 0 so long as Roger is deployed and stays alive.
Fans of the series will also be treated to the special animation of Beck the Great RX3's killer technique that was never fully revealed in the TV series.
