Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam is the sequel to the original Mobile Suit Gundam and is the second series of the Gundam franchise. The original series was remastered into 3 movies much later, but like most compilation movies, original elements and events have been modified or left out entirely. In this case, the remastered movies have caused great controversy due to the possibility of retconning the events of its direct sequel, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.
