Story

In Arkham City, Kurou Daijuuji is a failed magic student working as a detective. He gets hired by the Hadou Group, a company with lots of influence in the city, to search for a magic book called a grimoire. Kurou's search leads him to discover that the grimoire they want is not a book, but a person named Al Azif. Having found the grimoire, Kurou and Al suddenly get attacked by sorcerers from the terrorist group Anticross; Al forms a contract with Kurou to make him the pilot of the mighty Deus Machina, Demonbane, and the two begin their battle against Anticross.
