Hidden Pilots/Units

Jason Beck & Beck Victory Deluxe

• On Scenario 41 (ずっと、スタンド・バイ・ミー/"Always Stand By Me"), deploy Roger in a team. Use the "Convince" (説得) command on Beck with Roger.
• Beck will join the team after scenario 55.

Gyunei Guss & Jagd Doga

Gyunei's recruitment is based on a point system. He will stay unlocked on subsequent playthroughs.

• On Scenario 6, Blue Earth America route, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Gyunei with Kamille (+1 point) and, after Amuro gets Nu Gundam back, attack him only with Nu Gundam (+1 point).
• On Scenario 7, Blue Earth Japan route, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Gyunei with Kamille, (+1 point) then attack him with Kamille and Amuro (+1 point).
• On Scenario 10, Blue Earth routes, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Gyunei with Quess and Char (+1 point each; you have to Convince him with Quess in order to make Char's Convince show up)
• On Scenario 24, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Gyunei with Quess while Hathaway is deployed on the field (+1 point), then shoot him down(+1 point).
• On Scenario 36, Neo-Zeon route, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Gyunei with Kamille and/or Quess (+1 point each).
• If you have at least 2 points, he will join your team after Scenario 36, Restrain Neo Zeon route.
• Alternatively if you have at least 6 points, he will join your team after Scenario 40, Guard Japan route.

Marida Survives

Marida's survival flag is based on a points system. You need at least 2 points to save her on a first playthrough. Sequential playthroughs only require you to follow the last step.

• On Scenario 9, Blue Earth routes, attack Ple Twelve/Marida (Banshee) with Banagher (+1 point). Then, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Ple Twelve/Marida (Banshee) with Banagher. This results in a plot event where Banshee transforms into Banshee Destroy Mode. (+1 Point)
• On Scenario 10, Blue Earth routes, use the "Convince" (説得) command on Ple Twelve/Marida (Banshee) with Banagher and/or Quess. (+1 point each)
• On Scenario 37, Neo-Zeon route, engage Riddhe (Banshee Norn) with Marida (+1 point) and then shoot down Riddhe (Banshee Norn) with either Banagher or Marida. (+1 Point)
• On Scenario 39, Neo-Zeon route, engage Riddhe (Banshee Norn) with Marida (+1 point) and then shoot down Riddhe (Banshee Norn) with either Banagher or Marida. (+1 Point)
• On Scenario 44, fight and defeat Riddhe (Banshee Norn, at least in NT-D Mode, maybe beforehand) with Banagher. The story event will change and Marida will remain on your side.

Graham Survives

Fulfill at least one of the following:

• Graham and Setsuna both have ace status (80 kills) before scenario 50 ends.

OR

• On scenario 50, have Graham score at least 8 kills.

D-Trader Units

Alpha Azieru

• By the end of Scenario 33, reach a combined shot down count of 100 with Char and Quess.
• The Alpha Azieru will be for sale at the D-Trader during the Scenario 33 intermission.

Juaggu

• The Juaggu will show up for sale in the D-Trader during the Scenario 25 intermission. There are no requirements.

Bonta-kun

Fulfill at least one of the following before scenario 51 begins:

• Sousuke must be an ACE. Sousuke, Mao, Kurz and Closeau have a total kill count of at least 150.

OR

• Sousuke and Tessa are both aces.
• Bonta-kun appears in the hangar during the intermission following Scenario 51.

Hidden Parts

All part locations assume the top-left square of the map to be (0,0). Coordinates are listed horizontal, then vertical.

Super Repair Kit

On stage 14, move Rand or Setsuko to the square (18,24).

Kamina's Sunglasses

On stage 14, move Simon or Yoko to the square (8,17). The location should be at the lower left half-domes within the white building complex.

Booster & HP Radar

On stage 25, move Garrod to the square (7,21).

Nyan Nyan's Famous Tuna Buns

On stage 31, move Crowe to the square (15,9).

Psychic Reactor & Baked Andromeda

On stage 33, move Garrod and Loran to the square (23,15).

Fire Bomber Disc

On stage 52, Go to Shin Dragon route, move Shotaro to the square (17,22). On stage 54, Go to Macross Frontier route, move Basara to the square (17,24).

S-Adapter, Megabooster, Chogokin Z Armor

If you managed to get Beck to join, he will bring these items with him after scenario 55.

Accepting Ranka's feelings

This secret runs on a points system.

• Scenario 16: Take the Leave the Area (Macross Quarter) route (+1 point).
• Scenario 18, Leave the Area (Macross Quarter) route: Select "let Ranka ride in my (Alto's) unit" and clear the stage (+1 point).
• Scenario 27, Ocean route: Alto shoots down Brera (+1 point).
• Scenario 28, Ocean route: Brera is shot down (+1 point, +2 if Alto is the one who shoots him down).
• Scenario 53, Macross Frontier route: If you have at least 2 points, you will be given an option to accept or reject Ranka's feelings. Otherwise Alto will automatically do the latter.
