Units in Blue have special requirements. Check the Secrets page for more details.
Units in Red previously joined, but from this point, are rendered unusable. Those lost permanently are marked so, while others rejoin later on.
Information in Green are upgrades for units already in your party.

All Extra Scenarios in this game are completely optional to play and can be skipped (aside from Extra Scenario 4). Playing them will not force you to skip any other scenarios.

Main Scenario 1: Side 7
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Gundam or White Base is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:

  • Guncannon (Kai)
  • Guntank (Hayato)
  • Core Fighter (Ryuu)
  • White Base (Bright)
  • White Base cannot take action.

Unit Acquisition (Post-Stage):

Main Scenario 2: Atmosphere
Victory Condition: Survive for 9 turns, or shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: White Base is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Salamis (Reed)
  • White Base cannot move.

Communication Events:

  • Amuro can communicate with Char.
  • After Sayla attacks Char, Sayla can communicate with Char.

Secret Requirements:

  • Keeping Sayla after Main Scenario 18 (1/2):
    • Let Sayla fight Char, then have her communicate with Char. This event will also cause Sayla to leave after this scenario and sortie in a Prototype GM as a temporary NPC in Main Scenario 3.

Main Scenario 3: North America Continent
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: White Base is shot down.

    • Rejoins Player Team if communicated with.

  • GM Ground Type (Phillip)

Communication Events:

  • Amuro can communicate with Sayla from Turn 2 onwards. This will allow Sayla to be controllable again. She will still rejoin your team after the scenario even if Amuro doesn't communicate with her.
  • Sayla can communicate with Char
  • Let Amuro or Hayato fight Doan, then after Doan's hesitation event, either of them can communicate with Doan.
  • Anyone in the Player Team can communicate with Yuu, Phillip, Samana, and Alph.

Secret Requirements:

  • Zaku II J (Doan)
    • After Amuro or Hayato fights Doan, there will be an event where Doan refuses to fight the Player Team, causing Garma to order his troops to kill Doan as well. Have Amuro or Hayato communicate with Doan, and he will become an ally NPC. After the scenario, he will join your team.
  • Extra Scenario 1:
    • Clear this scenario within 16 turns.

Unit Acquisition (Post-Stage):

  • Prototype GM (Sayla) (if hadn't been communicated with yet).
  • GM Command (Yuu)
  • GM Ground Type (Phillip)

Extra Scenario 1: North American Zeon Research Lab
Victory Condition: Any ally unit reaches the Zeon Research Lab, or all enemies are shot down.
Defeat Condition: White Base is shot down.
Unit Acquisition: None

Secret Requirements:

  • (Marion) & Extra Scenario 6:
    • Shoot down the Efreet Kai. You will receive the "EXAM System" part after Main Scenario 5, allowing you to build the Blue Destiny I. This is one of the requirements to obtain Marion through clearing Extra Scenario 6.
Main Scenario 4: Mexico
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: White Base is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Amuro cannot use any ID Commands.
    • Remedied when Ryuu communicates with Amuro.

Communication Events:

  • Ryuu can communicate with Amuro.
  • Sayla can communicate with Ramba Ral.
  • Amuro can communicate with Ramba Ral.

Secret Requirements:

  • ID Command upgrade for Amuro:
    • Have Ryuu communicate with Amuro. This will allow Amuro use ID Commands again, while also granting him a new, enhanced set of ID Commands.
Main Scenario 5: Jaburo
Victory Condition: (1) Shoot down all enemies; (2) Move White Base to the southern edge of the map, or shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: White Base is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Gundam Ground Type (Shiro)
  • Gundam Ground Type (Karen)
  • Gundam Ground Type (Terry)
  • Hover Truck (Eledore)
  • Mass-Production Guntank (Michel)

Communication Events:

  • Shiro can communicate with Aina. This will also cause Aina to immediately retreat.

Secret Requirements:

  • Gundam Ez8 (1):
    • Have Shiro fight Aina. You will receive the Ez8 after Main Scenario 6.
  • NPC ally Apsalus III (Aina) during Main Scenario 9 (1/2) / Gelgoog JG (Aina) (1/1):
    • Have Shiro communicate with Aina.
  • Extra Scenario 2:
    • Clear this scenario within 12 turns.
  • (Marion) & Extra Scenario 6:
    • Build the Blue Destiny I. This is one of the requirements to obtain Marion through clearing Extra Scenario 6.

Unit Acquisition (Post-Stage):

  • White Base (Bright) => Grey Phantom (Bright)
  • Gundam => MC Gundam
  • Part: EXAM System
  • Part: Thermonuclear Hover
Extra Scenario 2: Murasame Research Lab
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Grey Phantom is shot down.

  • Gundam Mk-II (Garrod) (secret)

Secret Requirements:

  • Gundam Mk-II (Garrod) (1/3):
    • Lure any of the Frost Brothers near the Research Lab (at least 1 square away). Garrod will then appear in the Gundam Mk-II as an NPC ally.

Main Scenario 6: Torrington Base
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.

  • (Bernie) (1/2):
    • Shoot down Bernie with Chris still alive on the map.

Main Scenario 7: Kimberlite
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Grey Phantom is shot down.

  • Gundam Mk-II (Kamille)
  • Gundam Mk-II (Garrod)

Communication Events:

  • After Garrod appears, Bright can communicate with him.

Secret Requirements:

  • Gundam Mk-II (Garrod) (3/3):
    • Let Grey Phantom be damaged. Garrod will then appear in the Gundam Mk-II as an NPC ally. Have Bright communicate with Garrod, and he will join your team.
  • (Bernie) (2/2):
    • Reduce the enemy count on the map down to 17 units, but with Steiner, Garsia and Misha still alive. Their kamikaze attack event on the Grey Phantom will then play out. After the stage, Bernie will join your team.
Main Scenario 8: South America
Victory Condition: (1) Shoot down all enemies; (2) Move Grey Phantom to the northern edge of the map.
Defeat Condition: Grey Phantom is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • None

Communication Events:

  • Amuro can communicate with Ramba Ral.
  • Amuro can communicate with Hamon.
  • Sayla can communicate with Ramba Ral thrice.
Main Scenario 9: Jaburo
Victory Condition: (1) Shoot down all enemies; (2) Move any ally unit to the designated point on the map, or shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: (1) Grey Phantom is shot down; (2) 6 turns pass.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Medea (Woody)
  • Powered GM (Federation Soldier)
  • Powered GM (Federation Soldier)
  • Apsalus III (Aina) (secret)

Communication Events:

  • Let Shiro fight Aina. She will turn into an NPC ally in the following event. Shiro can then communicate with her.

Secret Requirements:

  • NPC ally Apsalus III (Aina) (2/2):
    • Let Shiro fight Aina. She will turn into an NPC ally in the following event.
  • Extra Scenario 3:
    • Clear this scenario within 12 turns.

Unit Acquisition (Post-Stage):

  • Grey Phantom (Bright) => Argama (Bright)
  • Gunperry (Alph) => Grey Phantom (Alph)
Extra Scenario 3: Kasarelia
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Argama is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Kampfer (Uso)
    • Joins the Player Team when communicated with.

Communication Events:

  • Bright can communicate with Uso.

Secret Requirements:

  • Kampfer (Uso):
    • Uso will appear in the Kampfer as an NPC ally. Have Bright communicate with him, and he will join your team.
Main Scenario 10: Gibraltar
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Argama is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Mobile FLAT (Loran)
  • Gelgoog JG (Aina)

Communication Events:

  • Shiro can communicate with Aina.

Secret Requirements:

  • Gelgoog JG (Aina):
    • After Aina's Apsalus III is shot down by Ginias' Apsalus III, she will reappear 2 turns later in a Gelgoog JG and join your team.
  • Mobile FLAT (Loran):
    • Lure any enemy unit near the base area (at least adjacent to it). Loran will then appear in a Mobile FLAT and join your team.

Unit Acquisition (Post-Stage):

  • Grey Phantom (Alph) => Irish (Alph)
  • Gundam Ez8 => Gundam Ez8 Kai
Main Scenario 11: Sweetwater
Victory Condition: Shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Argama is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • None

Communication Events:

  • Sayla can communicate with Char.

Secret Requirements:

  • Keeping Sayla after Main Scenario 18 (2/2):
    • Have Sayla communicate with Char. If you miss this requirement, you will have one more chance to complete it in the following scenario.

  • Part: Sturm Booster

Main Scenario 12: Texas Colony (Space)
Victory Condition: (1) Shoot down all enemies; (2) Have the Argama escape to the left side of the map, or shoot down all enemies.
Defeat Condition: Argama is shot down.
Unit Acquisition:
  • Re-GZ (Amuro)
    • Rejoins Player Team when communicated with.
  • Methuss (Sayla)

Communication Events:

  • Sayla can communicate with Char (twice if you did not have her communicate with Char in the previous scenario). This MUST be done on Turn 1, since he will retreat by Turn 2 after Lalah's Elmeth is shot down.

Secret Requirements:

  • Keeping Sayla after Main Scenario 18 (2/2):
    • If you missed the communication event between Char and Sayla in the previous scenario, you can have them communicate again in this scenario. If that is the case, then Sayla can communicate with Char twice during this scenario: the contents of the first dialogue (the necessary Secret Condition) will be similar to what was planned for Scenario 11, while the second dialogue is prepared for this scenario only and has no effect on the secret.
  • Extra Scenario 4:
    • Have the Argama escape to the RIGHT side of the map. This is also the hidden alternate Victory Condition. You will then be led directly to Extra Scenario 4.
