Here's a rough secret acquisition chart that I myself follow, for anyone who wants to obtain all secrets within the least amount of laps possible. Fafner characters are prioritized. Overall, it's gonna take 6 laps minimum. Kill count requirements for each lap are also noted.

play 1: JUDA => America => Byston Well => Arkham City => Tatsumiya
save: Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Burns, Sakomizu, Shouko, Mamoru
-Kazuki: 100 kills before stage 26, 200 kills before stage 47
-Shou & Marvel: total 100 kills before stage 30
-Michio & Kanon: total 100 kills before stage 36
-Mamoru & Kenji & Sakura: total 150 kills before stage 37
-Liu Bei & Cao Cao & Sun Quan: total 300 kills before stage 41

play 2: JUDA => Japan => Byston Well => Vajra => Union
save: Ishigami, Patrick, Andrei
-Kouichi: 200 kills before stage 44
-Setsuna: 150 kills before stage 47

play 3: Celestial Being => Japan => Ship => Arkham City => any
save: Karen, Yllbora
-Joe & Rene & Mike: 150 kills total before stage 27

play 4: Celestial Being => Europe => Ship => Vajra => Union
