Secret Characters

Marguerite (Stage 49) (confirmed secret,conditions unclear)

• Defeat Marguerite with Crowe every time Marguerite appears, except for stage 18 in which Crowe is shot down automatically. (Didn't defeat her with Crow EVERY time, but she still joined)
• On Stage 36 shoot her down with Crowe
• On Stage 42 Earth route or Stage 43 Space route Convince her with Crowe, she will then retreat.
• On Stage 49, Marguerite will join you once she or Schwar is defeated if the above conditions are fulfilled.

Secret Units

Scopedog TC - ISS (Stage 39) (confirmed secret, conditions unclear)

• During the prologue Monad battle on stage 39, have each of the Barcouf squad members kill at least one enemy.

• Have Chirico destroy Ipsilon and Riedman.

• Obtained after stage 39.

(This player met all these conditions, didn't get it. Possibly Chirico needs a certain number of kills? Had 38. Also, potentially route splits. I didn't take a single VOTOMS route on my playthrough.) (Route splits don't matter. Didn't pick a single VOTOMS-related route split at all in my second run and Chirico still got it. Chirico was an Ace, and during the Monad battle, everyone got at least one kill.)

I received this during my 2nd playthrough. Aced Chirico, did not pick any VOTOMS route, and had all the Barcouf squad members (including Chirico) kill at least one enemy.

It is possible that this is automatically given during a 2nd playthrough but I am not sure

Tornado Pack (Stage 45) (confirmed secret, conditions unclear)

Note: It's the Tornado Pack that is the secret. Alto will get the Armored Pack otherwise.

Alto must have 70+ kills by stage 45? (there are reports that people have this part with only 30 kills) (Alto had 75 kills, but took no Macross routes except go with open team, and didn't get Tornado pack)

Have to choose the same character for the Sheryl/Ranka choices? (chose Sheryl only once and got it)

Might be related to having the allied units in Stage 37 not taking any damage. (allies took damage, still got armored pack)

Alto has to kill a certain number of units on stage 45? (didn't kill any) (didn`t kill any, got it, killed some, got it too)

Related to Celestial Being Route Split at Scenario 33/34? I chose Area 11 split, chose Sheryl on Scenario 37, had 70+ kills on Alto at Scenario 45 and didn't get the part.(My 2nd playthrough, CB route all the way, chose Sheryl twice and got it. Maybe you have to go through Route 34(CB) to get the pack? Anyone can test it?) (Went through all the CB routes on my first run, chose Sheryl twice, didn't get it. Alto didn't have 70 kills)

I chose Area 11 at the 33/34 split, Ranka at 37, aced Alto, and did not get the part. However, I was also on normal mode when I hit stage 45 (lost it two stages back), so this might only be unlocked if the player is in hard mode. (i got it in normal mode)

Alto will automatically equip the Tornado Pack after emerging from the Vajra Nest in stage 45 if the secret's condition(s? still unclear) is fulfilled, Armored Pack otherwise, either which will become usable in the intermission onwards.

SP Booster (Stage 49) (confirmed secret, conditions unclear)

Holland will join the player on Stage 49 with the SP Booster-equipped Terminus 303 if certain conditions are fulfilled.

One of the conditions is that Renton has to land the finishing blow on Holland? (No, I've had Renton sitting in the carrier the entire fight and still got it.)

Confirmed to have the part obtained on the second playthrough but not the first, so there might be other conditions.

Obtained on the first playthrough with Holland an ace before he leaves and with the Terminus 303 fully upgraded, he rejoins the player with the SP Booster equipped. Renton was not used at all and the player had 37 SR Points.

obtained on first playthrough without full upgrade on Holland. Before he left he was not ace, but was ace when he returned (left at around 60 kills, came back at exactly 70).

Obtained as long as Holland is an ace by that stage, including the extra kills he got during the time he was not in party.

Secret Items

Auto Repair Machine

On stage 13, put Crow onto the square at the bottom right of the Radar station in the top right of the map (from top right of the map, 11 squares left and 9 down). Mail's father Cielo Beater (from SRW Z) will give you an Auto-Repair Machine part, granting 10% HP Regen. The Brasta does not need to land.

Super Repair Kit

On stage 30, move Crow in the Brasta to the square Zenitori was (from bottom left, 13 squares right and 6 up.)

Yggdrasil Drive

Obtained after Stage 33 「天を突く命」's intermission if Suzaku has defeated 40 enemies.

Super Alloy Z

On stage 41, move Kouji to the Kabuto House (兜家, the middle one of the 3 houses surrounded by forest). You will receive the Super Alloy Z after a conversation with Inspector Ankokuji (暗黒寺)

Hero's Seal 「勇者の印」 (confirmed secret, conditions unclear)

Convince Marg with Mars on stages 31 and 41, then defeat Marg with Mars on the same stages?

Defeat Roze with Marg?

• Convinced Marg + defeated with Mars on stages 31 and 41, defeated Roze with Marg. Did not obtain.

- Obtained on first run with Takeru at about 50 kills (not ace). Other stuff I did was probably just have Takeru kill quite a few units by himself on stage 31 before allies came.

- Did not go any Godmars routes + convinced Marg and defeated him with Mars in stage 31 and 41, defeated Roze with Marg. Obtained. Dialog between Mars and Marg was exchanged twice in stage 41, before and after the convincing. Perhaps you have to attack Marg first, then convince, then finish him.

Obtained after stage 41 intermission.

I got this by:

-Taking Celestial Being route from scenario 3-8

-Taking Japan route from 10-12 (when taking the CB route, you can choose between Japan or Area 11)

-Taking Go With Open Team on 16-18

-Taking the Continue Assisting the UN route from 24-27

-On stage 31, Takeru/Godmars was aced and he killed about 2 enemies before player reinforcements. Had a battle with Marg, then convince, then finish Marg with Takeru/Godmars. *I actually killed everything else and saved Marg for last so that might be a factor*

-Taking the Japan route from 34-36

-On stage 41, defeated Rose with Mars. When Marg arrives after beating Rose, I had a battle with Mars and Marg, convinced Marg with Mars, and then finished Marg with Mars.

Second Haro

On stage 48, if Lockon Stratos is an Ace (70+ kills), a Haro part will be awarded upon completion of the stage. This Haro is identical in stats to the earlier Haro gained through the main game.

As long as Lockon becomes an ace by the end of the stage, you will receive the Haro.

For example, you start stage 48 with 60 kills, but kill 10 enemies(now 70 kills) before Lockon leaves, you will get the Haro.

Events

Allelujah's Awakening (requires further details)

On stage 48, Daybreak's Bell, if Allelujah fights Soma Peries' GN-X, he will awaken, resulting in a superior Ace Bonus, changed Spirits, including Valour being upped to Soul for the same cost, and several lowering in cost significantly, and changes to Kyrios' Trans-AM attack. These benefits will dissapate once Soma is defeated, and/or the stage ends.

New Ace Bonus: +20% Accuracy, +20% Evade

New Spirit list: Focus 10SP, Guts 10SP, Accel 15SP, Sense 10SP, Faith 30SP, Soul 40SP
