Bilbine's Night Camouflage ?????????

• After Chapter 26 route split choose the Byston Well route [?????·?????????].
• Will automatically-appear in stage 28. It has slightly-higher mobility & machine accuracy than regular Bilbine, but is otherwise exactly the same.

Secret Character Upgrades

Romina's Dress Change

• After the Chapter 26 route split, choose to keep accompanying the ship [??????????].
• In Chapter 28, you will be given the choice of wearing the battle uniform ???????? & wearing the dress ???????????.
  • If you choose to wear battle uniform ????????, Romina's face portrait & attack cut-in will change.
  • If you choose to keep wearing the dress ??????????? or flew to Byston Well [?????·?????????], there will be no changes to Romina's attire.

Notes

• Any secret unit/character that was acquired in one playthrough will remain acquired across all succeeding playthroughs, except for the following:
  • Lux Sakomizu & Gim Ginen
  • Romina's Dress Change
  • Bilbine's Night Camouflage

• Route split flags are usually permanently set as on, although it's a little odd when it comes to Yllbora.

• If the requirement is to "Defeat X with Y", the flag does not carry over & has to be done every playthrough that you are attempting to get that character, until you get them.

• Skill parts acquired from secret characters can only be acquired once. To get more of those skill parts, you need to complete the DLC stages (Puzzle Robo/Campaign Maps).

• Kill Count requirements are based on a character's base amount of kills (however, 999 has no effect on secrets) displayed on the status screen either in the intermission or the stage where they join. The Kill Count requirement has to be made with each playthrough, & none of the kills made are carried over; everyone's Kill Count starts at "zero" for each playthrough. For instance, Shouko requires Kazuki to have 100 kills, which means he needs to make 100 kills in that playthrough (killing the Sphinx Festum with Kazuki in the Prologue does not count) & for each playthrough where the player wants to unlock Shouko.

• It is possible to grind for kills by purposely losing the game. However, if a character makes a kill during their first appearance & then you lose on that stage, the kills will not count.

• For anyone whose Kill Count requirement involves 2 or more characters, it's not known if zero is a valid amount for one character to have as long as at least one other person meets the requirement.

Secret Characters

Shouko Hazama & Mark Zechs

• In the Prologue, defeat the Sphinx Festum with Kazuki. Kazuki can receive a support attack from someone to defeat the Sphinx as long as he's the one to initiate the attack.
• In Stage 13, defeat at least 5 enemies with Shouko by Enemy Phase 3.
• By the end of Stage 26, Kazuki must have 100 kills.
• Choose the Byston Well Route after Stage 26.
• Shouko will appear in stage 27B as an allied reinforcement, after Rouri is defeated.

Karen & Skeleton

• Take the Celestial Being route after stage 6.
• Take the Japan route after stage 13.
• Take the Ship route after stage 26.
• Joe, Rene, & Mike need to have made 150 kills between the three of them by the end of stage 27.
• In stage 28A, do not attack Karen. She is also not allowed to take damage from support defending.
• Defeat Shalome with Joe, & she'll join after the stage.

Burn Burnings & Zwarth

• Take the America route after stage 13.
• Shou & Marvel must have made 100 kills between them by the end of stage 30. (Not including the kills they join with.)
• In stage 31, set Cham as Tactician.
• Also in stage 31, have Shou fight Burn without defeating him, then lower his HP to 10% or less with anyone.
• If done correct, the Zwarth will retreat instead of exploding.

Michio Hino & Mark Eins

• In stage 20 (all routes), defeat at least 3 Festum with Micho.
• By the end of Stage 36, Michio & Kanon need to make 100 total combined kills. (Not including the kills they join with.)
• In stage 37, set Michio as Tactician.
• If done correctly, he'll appear as an allied reinforcement in stage 39 when Yllbora is defeated.

Mamoru Koudate

• Take the Byston Well route after stage 26.
• Take the Arkham City route after stage 32.
• By the end of stage 34, you must have used Triple Dog at least five times (Sakura+Kenji+Mamoru combo attack).
• By the end of stage 37, Mamoru, Kenji, & Sakura need to have made 150 kills combined.
• In stage 41, when the battleships & main force appear, Hiroto should get a Will boost & then be attached to the losing condition.
• Mamoru will not be automatically-assigned to the Mark Funf in the following intermission. If you want to use him, you have to switch Hiroto out of it.

Skrugg Will

• After Stage 13, take the America route.
• After Stage 26, take the Ship route.
• After Stage 32, take the Arkham route.
• After Stage 41, take the Union route.
• By the end of stage 43, Heroman needs to have made 200 kills.
• Do not scenario skip the post-battle dialogue of stage 44 with L+A. A bug has been known to trigger where you don't get Will's skillpart.

Shinjirou Sakomizu & Oukaou

• Chapter 12, shoot down Oukaou with Asap.
• Choose America Route after Chapter 13.
• Choose Flown to Byston Well Route after Chapter 26.
• Chapter 28B, shoot down Oukaou with Asap.
• By the end of Chapter 38, Asap must have over 100 kills in total. Actually chapter 40, but Asap won't be around in 39.
• Chapter 38, shoot down Oukaou with Asap.
• Chapter 40 set Elebos as tactician/cheerleader.
• Chapter 40, Shoot down Oukaou with Asap. Convince Hyper Oukaou & Sakomizu with 3 people for over 7 points. Convinces worth 3 points: Asap, Luxe, Shou, Setsuna, Saya. Convinces worth 2 points: Amalgam, Burn, Sousou, Kouichi, Kazuki, Sonken, Alto, Fey, Arnie. Convinces worth 1 point: Joe, Kira, Athrun, Shinn, Kaidou, Kurou, Aoi, Joey, Ryuubi. Shoot down Hyper Oukaou with Asap. You will know that you scored over 7 points because Sakomizu will not cast Soul after the third person finishes convincing him.
• Asap will be event deployed in Chapter 45 if Sakomizu is unlocked.

Ryofu Tallgeese & Chousen Qubeley

• Chapter 7B shoot down Ryofu with Sonken.
• Chapter 16B shoot down Ryofu with Sonken.
• Chapter 22 shoot down Ryofu with Sousou.
• Chapter 34 shoot down Ryofu with Sousou.
• Chapter 36A shoot down Ryofu with Sousou. 36B with Sonken.
• By the end of Chapter 41 Ryuubi, Sousou & Sonken must have 300 kills in total. Choose Remain at Tatsumiyajima route after 41.
• Chapter 42B shoot down Ryofu with Shouretsutei Ryuubi.
• If unlocked, Ryofu will appear in Chapter 45 right after Sakomizu appears.

Ishigami Kunio & Juda

• After Chapter 6 choose Remain at JUDA route.
• After Chapter 13 choose Japan route.
• After Chapter 26 choose Remain with this ship route.
• After Chapter 32 choose Vajra route out mission route.
• Chapter 43B shoot down Katou Hisataka (Tsukuyomi) with Kouichi (Linebarrel)
• By the end of Chapter 44 Kouichi must have 200 or more kills.
• If unlocked, Shinn, Kira & Athrun will stop his sacrifice in the event to destroy the Override Gate.

Graham Aker & Brave

• After Chapter 6 choose Rendezvous with Celestial Being route.
• After Chapter 13 choose America route.
• After Chapter 26 choose Flown to Byston Well route.
• After Chapter 32 choose Vajra rout out mission route.
• By the end of Chapter 47 Graham must have 50 or more kills.
• Chapter 48 set Graham as tactician.
• If unlocked Lockon & Allelujah will assist him in the event against the ELS.

Patrick Mannequin & GN-X IV & Andrei Smirnov & GN-X IV

• After Chapter 26 choose Flown to Byston Well route.
• After Chapter 32 choose Vajra rout out mission route.
• By end of Chapter 47 Setsuna must have 150 or more kills.
• If unlocked, Andrei will appear alive in the Scenario-Demo after.

Kurusu Misao & Mark Nicht

• From Chapter 41 to 47 you must use Cross Dock, Twin Dock & Juniors's Cross Dock once.
  • Junior Cross Dock is only usable Chapter 41 & Tatsumiyajima Route.
• By start of Chapter 47 Kazuki must have over 200 kills.
• Chapter 47 shoot down Mark Nicht with Kazuki.
• If unlocked, Chapter 49 when Vajra reinforcements appear, Worm Spheres will event over the Vajra.

Yllbora Saro & Zerokage

• After Chapter 6 choose Rendezvous with Celestial Being route.
• After Chapter 13 choose Japan route.
• Chapter 17B shoot down Yllbora with Joe.
• Chapter 22 set Romina as tactician, shoot down Yllbora with Joe.
• Chapter 30 set Romina as tactician, shoot down Yllbora in Skeleton with Joe, & then again when he's in Zerokage.
• After Chapter 32 choose Remain at Arkham City Defense route.
• Chapter 39 set Romina as tactician, shoot down Yllbora with Joe.
• Chapter 49 set Romina as tactician, shoot down Yllbora with Joe.
• If unlocked, Yllbora will not fall shadowed out in Scenario-Demo after.

Brera Stern & VF-27Y Lucifer SP

• After Chapter 6 choose Rendezvous with Celestial Being Route.
• After Chapter 13 choose Europe Route.
• After Chapter 26 choose Remain with This Ship Route.
• After Chapter 32 choose Vajra Rout Out Mission Route.
• After Chapter 41 choose Head to Union Route.
• Chapter 50 set Ranka as cheerleader.
• Chapter 50 shoot down Brera with Alto.
• If successful, Brera will shoot Queen Frontier instead of ramming at it.

Master Therion & Liber Legis

• Chapter 3 shoot down Doc. West with Kurou.
• Chapter 4 shoot down Master Therion with Kurou.
• Choose America Route split after Chapter 13.
• Choose Flown to Byston Well Route after Chapter 26.
• Chapter 32 set Ruri as tactician. Shoot down Master Therion with Kurou.
• Choose Remain for Arkham City's Defense after chapter 32.
• Chapter 33B set Ruri as tactician. Shoot down Caligula with Kurou.
• Choose Head to Union after Chapter 41.
• Chapter 42-43 set Ruri as tactician.
• Chapter 42 shoot down Claudius & Tiberius with Kurou.
• Chapter 43 shoot down Titus, Augustus & Nero with Kurou.
• Have Kurou with over 200 kills by the start of Chapter 51.
• Chapter 51 set Ruri as tactician & shoot down Master Therion with Kurou.
• If unlocked, Kurou & Al will appear to them in the Scenario-Demo after.

Lux Sakomizu & Gim Ginen

• After stage 26, choose to go on the Byston Well route.
• In stage 28, Lux will arrive & partner with Aesapp. This happens on player phase 3, if the Fugake's HP is reduced to 80% or less, or if the number of enemy pairs is reduced to 9 or less (or less than 9; not sure).

Note: This secret is route-exclusive. You will only get her if you take the Byston Well route.
