This PSP version of the game talks about the Etna Mode and some of the stuff not in the original game. To get Etna mode in the US version without playing through the game the first time, just press in the title screen "Triangle, Square, Circle, Triangle, Square, Circle, X" - with cursor on Start. A correct entering will cause Etna to say "Booyah". There is a difference between the X and Circle buttons in the JP version from the US version, so if you're using a JP version, you will need to use "Triangle, Square, X, Triangle, Square, X, Circle" to get the code to work.

Drawbacks to Etna Mode

  • No Demonhall Mirror

Benefits to Etna Mode

• • More XP in CoO3 than any other mode
  • Map 3-2 has an XP+150% area.

After the event you will get 300 HL to start with and make sure to save your game. Gear up yourself and three prinnies.

Stellar Graveyard

• • First Battle
    • Instead of a tutorial, you will go straight into battle with 4 ghosts.

After winning, it goes in a similar storyline as with Laharl Mode, except it is only 5 chapters long.

• Chapter 1 - you will eventually get in a fight with Vyers
• Chapter 2 - you will meet Flonne and enter Rich Demon Palace before fighting Hoggmieser. He joins after battle.
• Chapter 3 - you will fight Flonne three times
