Episode 12: Dark Madness

Haruka: We're out! It happens every time, but it feels like it only takes a few second.

koto: Wow this isn't Mirror City! I thought we'd just be sent back there but I was wrong!

Houki: It's similar to my world, but doesn't seem to be it.

Haruka: It's also similar to the world Aoi and I am from, but I'm also not sure if it's the same.

Claude: Wait, I recognize this building.

Meru: Wow! It's Butei High! That's the school that Aria goes to!

Houki: Aria's school?

Houki: So you know this place? If that's the case we should be able to rest easy.

Claude: I only have bad memories of this place.

Shirayuki: Oh is that right?

Meru: huaa Shirayuki! it's been a while!

[The group explains the situation to Shirayuki]

Shirayuki: Is that so? The mystery still hasn't been solved then.

Meru: We still don't know the cause so we split into 3 groups.....

Claude: Aria is in another group. She might end up coming to this world, but I don't think that will happen.

Shirayuki: It's fine. Aria can handle herself no matter where she is, so I'm not worried.

Shirayuki: Thougn I'd rather she was here instead of me.

Koto: You'd rather be lost?

Shirayuki: Ah , It's nothing.

Haruka: Huh? Is there something wrong?

Shirayuki: Butei High is always having bad luck. Please dont worry about it.

Shirayuki: The room you were staying in before is still available for you. Please use it without worry.

Meru: Thank you! We weren't really sure what we were going to do when we got here. So we appreciate it.

[The group moves to the classroom]

Houki: Hmm, you were allowed to use this place?

Claude: I wouldn't say used. We were kept here under surveillance by Aria for long time after we first arrived in this world.

Houki: A warror sits on half tatami mats and sleeps on one tamai mat. There is no shower, but it's free. I have no complaints.

Houki: No, wait. You're in the same room. Don't tell me you slept in here with them!?

Claude: So-so-sorry , but I slept here too.

Houki: Your shameless! Grow up! Boys and girls stop sharing a room when they turn 7. That's common sense!

Claude: Uhhhhh, even if you say that!

[The door opens Koto and the others walk in]

Koto: Huh? What are you doing? Team bonding?

Houki: Absolutely not!

Haruka: More than that, we heard something bad!

Houki: What's the matter?

Haruka: Shirayuki is being targetted by the fabled Durandal.

Houki: targetted?

Haruka: Theres a rumor of a magic sword wielder called Durandal who attacks and kidnaps really strong Butei

Koto: Oh, Butei are detectives who use martial arts and super powers. Shirayuki is one of the strongest among them.

Houki: If Shirayuki is being targetted by this Durandal why is she out walking alone?

Haruka: Hmm, I don't know. A lot of people think Durandal is made up.

Houki: So he isn't real? He's just a school ghost story or some kind of urban legend?

Koto: No ones ever seen him. So it's a mystery if it they actually exist or not.

Houki: So in other words, there is no basis for the rumor yet people still think Shirayuki is being targeted. Is the rumor that widespread?

Haruka: Shirayuki, I'm really worried about her.

Haruka: Hey since we're talking about Shirayuki. Can we do something for her?

Houki: You say that, but we're outsiders here. If we make a move and and cause a commotion it would make things worse for her.

Houki: You've already been wandering around the school without permission. Have you been eavse dropping on people's conversatons as well !?

Koto: Don't say it like that!

Claude: Last time when Aria asked me to go and buy her some peach buns from Matsumoto. After that I was allwoed in and out freely.

Claude: I say free to go. If I didn't come back everyone else would have been killed imemdiately.....

Houki: This is a school where all the students are armed. I wonder if they don't feel there is a need for supervision.

Houki: If there's a chance Shirayuki will be targetted they shouldn't just write it off. Even if they just think of it as a stupid story

Haruka: There is no other place safter than the school.

Claude: So scary I'm glad they aren't after us....

Meru: But the student dormitory is outside the school grounds. It might be dangerous when travelling to or back from school.

Haruka: Well when Shirayuki gets out of school, lets go see her!

[The group go ouside to find Shirayuki]

Haruka: Ah, there she is! Hey, Shirayuki!

Shirayuki: Oh, Haruka. and everyone is is here too.

Koto: Woah what are you wearing, shrine maiden clothes? You look great!

Houki: What happened to your school uniform, are you going back to school in those clothes?

Shirayuki: No, I just don't have anything until my training session this afternoon, I'm going to go back to my room and change clothes. Are you all going out?

Haruka: No. Earlier we heard about Druandal and we got worried about you.

Shirayuki: Ah you heard about that. Did you believe the rumor?

Koto: He targets super strong people right?

Shirayuki: That's right....only strong people. I think the rumors have just gotten too big. I'm not going to be targetted.

Haruka: But we heard the your really strong Shirayuki

Shirayuki: People only say that because I'm the student council president.

Shirayuki: The teachers from the education division also asked that I be given a bodyguard....... They're being too overprotective.

Haruka: A bodyguard?

Shirayuki: Yes, because they think it would be dangerous to be on my own. I don't know who this Durandal is, but I don't think they're real.

Haruka: Hey guys! I came up with a great idea!

Shirayuki: huh?

Haruka: Let's be Shirayuki's bodyguards!

Shirayuki: All of you?

Houki: Haruka, think about what your saying!

Haruka: When I listened to Hou-chan I was inspired!

Houki: Hey! Your too close!

Haruka: Shirayuki, there's a chance that people from other worlds ike us could turn up here right?

Koto: Did bad guys come too?

Claude: That's right.... There are some people who seem to be very dangerous. One of them calls himself Dr.Shinigami.

Haruka: In other words, the person thats targetting Shirayuki could be a bad guy from another world.

Houki: It was just an idea, I wasn't going to say it.

Meru: If that's the case then It's relavent to us.

Shirayuki:........

Claude: Woah, woah, what's up? What's with that scary expression?

Shirayuki: Be careful! there are enemies approaching!

Houki: What!?

Phantom: .....!!

Gr-06: !!

Meru: Before we knew it, they surrounded us!

Haruka: I'll get Red Angel!

Houki: Hurry up Haruka! We'll protect Shirayuki!

Koto: Oh, leave it to me!

Shirayuki: Thank you for your concern, but don't worry about me.

Koto: Huh?

Shirayuki: I can protect myself, too.

Koto: Ha ha, as expected of a Butei!

Houki: Mm, you have no openings! I can see you've trained a lot.

Shirayuki: I'm going ahead, pepare yourself!

Red Angel: Guys, wait for me!

Koto: All right, Let's do this!!

Episode 12: Dark madness

Victory: Defeat all enemies. Defeat: all allies defeated.

[deploy]

Red Angel: What's the enemies target?

Koto: Hmm is it Shirayuki? Or is it us?

Houki: It could be both.

Koto: Hahah, that's easy to understand!

Red Angel: In that case we can just beat them all!

Shirayuki: I'll go ahead! you guys stay back

Koto: Ah no need for that! We're all strong!

Houki: Except for one person.

Claude: Right, right..... Don't worry about me. I'll be careful.

[After killing some enemies a doppleganger and more enemies appear]

Red Angel: Ah, who is that person?

???:.......I wonder?

Koto: Look! She's got something in her hand!

Red Angel: Is that the magic sword!? So that means your Durandal!

Red Angel: I won't let you lay a finger on Shirayaki!

Shirayaki:.....

Houki: By the way the name Durandal, Isn't it the name of a western sword?

Red Angel: What.....?

Houki: That is a katana not a western style sword.

Koto: Aren't swords and katanas the same thing?

Houki: Absolutely not! They are totall different!

Koto: Well sure. So you don't think this is Durandal?

Houki: No I don't. The sword is the soul of a warrior after all.

???:..... Are you ready for more?

Houki: Look out, they're coming!

Koto: Right!

Red Angel: Be careful Shirayuki.

Shirayuki: Of course!

[Defeat the doppleganger]

Houki: Did we do it?

???:........

[Doppleganger vanishes]

Red Angel: Oh, she got away.......

Houki: What was that thing......... It was creepy.........

[Stage end]

Shirayuki: *sigh*

Houki:.........

Shirayuki: Ah, um.... what is it?

Houki: Nothing. I was just wondering how long have you been fighting for?

Shirayuki: Huh?

Houki: I heard that the strongest Butei use super power, I was just worried at first when you were fighting without using it.

Shirayuki: You don't need to worry, because I'm not that strong I wont be targetted by Durandal.

Houki: Is that right?

Shirayuki: Yes.....

Houki: .......If that's the case the aim of the group we just fought must have been us.

Meru: Shirayuki, while we were away did any of those guys show up?

Shirayuki: No, not as far as I know.

Calude: So they were targetting us after all?

Shirayuki: If you think about it like that, everything does add up.

Haruka: Shirayuki?

Shirayuki: There's no chance of me being targetted, so you guys don't need to worry about me.

Shirayuki: Everyone at the school is just exaggerating my strength.

Shuirayuki: I'm just a normal person

Haruka: But just in case, you need a bodyguard....

Shirayuki: No, I appreciate you senitment, but I'll be fine.

Haruka: No! Why do you keep saying that?!?

Shirayuki: I'm Sirayuki Hotogi. A priestess of the Shirayuki Shrine which has stood for more than two thousand years.

Shirayuki: It's forbidden to leave the shrine grounds under normal circumtances and I'm supposed to avoid forming relationships with people in the oustide world as much as possible.

Haruka: Oh.....

Shirayuki: I was finally allowed to study at Butei High, but there are a lot of restrictions.

Shirayuki: I'm forbidden from leaving the shirne grounds without permission, and I'm not allowed to appear in front of large crowds.

Shirayuki: I know that it's better if I don't get deeply involved with other people.

Haruka:......That's no good!

Shirayuki: huh?

Haruka: I can't accept that.......... Other people deciding that you have to be alone!

Koto: Haruka? What's gotten into you?

Haruka: We're your friends right Shirayuki!? So don't say that

Shirayuki:..........

Shirayuki: it's fine if you feel that way, but as the priestess of the Shirayuki Shrine I can't break the rules.

Hotogi: But Shirayuki....!

Shirayuki: I'll be excusing myself now.

[Shirayuki leaves]

Haruka:......... Meru: Haruka....... Please don't get upset.

Houki: Haruka we're your friends. If your worried you shouldn't hesitate to talk to us.

Haruka:..........

Houki: Mmmm, that's it! Don't even think about saying this is your fault!

Houki: We are strangers to this world. Even if we try and get involved in things, there's a limit to what we can do right?

Haruka: ! know, but...!

Koto: Still you must have got pretty mad right? I was suprised to see you shout like that.

Haruka: I know how painful it can be because I used to be like that.....alone.

Houki: Haruka.........

Haruka: But then I met Aoi

Haruka: No matter how much I refused, Aoi-chan didn't give up and kept calling out to me. until she reached my heart.

Haruka: I don't know if I can do it well as her, but just like Aoi-chan I don't want to give up on Shirayuki.....

Haruka: Even if they say it isn't allowed, even if they say im causing trouble. I'm going to become friends with Shirayuki!

Houki: Haruka, you.......

Koto: Hey thats more like it! Your back to normal Haruka!

Haruka: Ehehe, I'm sorry.

Houki: You don't need to apologize (If you say it like that with that voice it just reminds me of my sister)

Houki: In any case, in regards to Durandal we need to find out if they actually exist and if they are related to us in any way.

Koto: By the way It's Shirayuki shrine right? If it's such a popular shrine maybe we should go and visit!

Koto: and then we can become friends with Shirayuki!

koto: And then we can all go eat some delicious rice! and then we can go and discover every other unknown delicacy!

Koto: The we'll defeat Durandal, oh but we have to be careful not to eat too much or we'll get stomach ache, and then, and then!

Houki: Your asking for too much!

Haruka: Haha, this is just like Koto-chan

Koto: Hehehe!

Houki: Well it's not like we're going anyhere........ How much money are you going to spend!?

Koto: As much as I need to in order to fill my stomach!

Haruka: haha! Koto-chan!

Houki: Well for now I guess we should keep an eye on Shirayuki.

Houki: However don't get impatient Haruka. You don't want her to hate you, do you?

Haruka: Yeah it wont be easy. I know it takes time.

Koto: Well, let's start by getting some rice!

Houki: That's all you ever eat..........
