Super Robot Wars/1/Capture Mechanics
From Akurasu
< Super Robot Wars | 1
Units can be made to switch sides by using the convince command. The player will primarily use this to recruit enemy units to their side. However, the AI can use it as well to attempt to have the player's units join the enemy.
Calculations
Success rate [%] = Persuasiveness - P. Resistance
Persuasiveness = Charisma + Level * 10 + (Target maximum HP / Target Current HP) * 2 + Compatibility correction
P. Resistance = Loyalty + Level * 10 + Number of occupied towers * 10
- However, in the case of a unit with 0 loyalty, P. Resistance = 256, and it's not affected by any other modifiers
Compatibility Correction
| Persuaded Side | |||||

Bug?
Each tower you capture increases the enemy's resistance to persuasion by 10%. This may be a bug.
