In the Convict names list, theres one listed as 夜叉, which is actually read as "yasha", but that's supposed to be a female demon, so it may be written incorrectly. could anyone check it?
Also, the genin/chuunin/jounin names were ok, i think, because there shouldn't be almost anyone by now who doesn't know what it means
Yaksa is correct.
That doesn't mean female demon. Here's an article that kinda explains this mix up: http://www.sf.airnet.ne.jp/ts/japanese/message/jpnEr0bLLH5EqsnIsg1.html
Male ninja names
I changed those names because I wanted to add in ones for the 4th and 5th ranks and it seemed clearest to make 1-5 internally consistent in style and also fit in with the over all trend of translation over transliteration. djkc 14:34, 7 March 2006 (EST)
