Infobox anime is an infobox used to give descriptions of anime series whether it may be televised or not.

Syntax Guidelines

enname

The official licensed name of the series in English. If no such name exists, then using a literal translation or a commonly adopted translation from fan sub groups is acceptable.

jpname

The Japanese title of the series written out in Japanese text.

names

Other names used for the series from literal translations, abbreviations, and fan sub group name adaptions. Please avoid using names from series adaptions that made extreme changes from the original Japanese series (Ex: Robotech, Voltron, etc.). Due to the fact that SRW uses Japanese series content, having that kind of information in the infoboxes will only create confusion and hassle for readers and editors to keep track of in the long run.

showtype

The medium that was used to air the series. This will either be listed as a "TV series", "OVA" (Original Video Animation), or "Movie". Some series will have been aired times through multiple media and listing them all is encouraged.

episodes

The number of episodes in the series. Simply put a "1" if the series does not have any episodes.

date

The date which the series was first aired or released as a straight-to-home adaption.

First

The first SRW game the series makes an appearance in.
